Woohoo! My grab bag young unis came in today! Although I’m still waiting for two more to come tomorrow. Sorting through them now…. which do i want to keep… it’s so fun looking at the names too. Will be posting pics as soon as I get a chance. If anyone has any last minute preferences, send me a pm 🙂

I got a little beauty in the mail today! But it appears that the post office had played a rousing game of soccer with the box before delivering it to me. **grumble, grumble** His horn was knocked right off his head! For the time being, it’s balanced on his head and he’s safe inside my cabinet until I’m brave enough to try to fix it. His name is “Dolente”.

Aww ashley those are cute. So you have 3 leopard appys now huh? And all 3 are different too. I like the ones with big spots better actually… at first I thought it looked like mould (I’ve said this about real appys though) but it is pretty. You have one with big spots, one with little spots, and then emmaline with patches of little spots, hehe. I’m hoping mine arrive this week, I’d trade you depending on what I get. I’m so excited for mine to arrive, I wish shipping here was faster. Haven’t got the pink curl yet either!

skeeterdee he’s gorgeous! That sucks about the horn though, stupid post office. I like the overo spots, he’s really pretty.

skeeter he is pretty even without the horn, but im sure that will get glued back in soon!

scenceable- yeah i will have three appys. I was actually hoping for at least one palomino though(especially a buckskin) so maybe someone will trade with me? I know at least one of them will be sold/traded, but I until I have emmaline and can line them all up next to each other, i wont make a decision.

There’s a little chip in his paint, but when the horn is in it covers most of the chip. It’s pretty clean and with a little dab of glue, he’ll be just fine. I’m just worried I’ll get glue globs on him. :bigsmile: My two-year-old son kissed his boo-boo for him and told me he needs a “hurt sticker” (band-aid)! lol
I have to give props to the Windstone shipping department, if they didn’t pack with such care he never would have made it: one side of the box was crushed, another side had a hole ripped in it.

Skeeterdee-Dolente-wow! Gorgeous name and gorgeous unicorn! I love his purple and blue gems. Can you file a claim with the post office and tell them you want to be reimbursed for a repair job? I seem to remember they offered an option to have it repaired, but at the time, no one was fixing Windstones.
