Ha, stormbreeze, I bet your fox has a soulmate among the lady cats! He looks just like a calico 😀
So I haven’t gotten the foxes I ordered because my family don’t want to drive back down this way after being here last night… so that’s a waiting game still *Sigh*
BUT! The light in my day, is my awesome boyfriend who surprised the hell out of me 🙂 I’ll tell more of the story tomorrow, as I’m quickly writing this so I can show off! 🙂 Will have time tomorrow for more…

The red is very pretty, and I do adore her, but I will still be putting her up for a trade, to see what I can get 🙂 But won’t be sad if she ends up staying… I like the richer colors… though to narrow down exactly what I like is difficult.. so feel free to make an offer if you’re interested, currently I am only looking for another red fox

No photos, but mine looks almost identical to Hannah’s except even darker. He’s super dark grey with all black legs, feet, tail, ears, & mask. At first glance he looks almost solid black.
Mine’s taken a side trip to Los Angeles! I hope it doesn’t stay there long. I guess it really wanted to see some palm trees before settling down in Canada with me and my more northerly climate. Maybe it doesn’t know that we wear sunscreen here in the summer too…

My tracking has finally changed from “Shipping information received” to “Left Corvallis” – I guess the foxes didn’t want to leave home. They are supposed to be here on Saturday. 🙂

My shipments from Windstone always go through California, most times its via San Francisco, but the last time it was via LA. Mind you the times it went through San Francisco, the service type was Priority Mail International Parcel, and it then normally went to customs in Richmond.
The one time it went through LA the service type was First-Class Package International Service- since it was a smaller package and I didnt pay for more expensive shipping. It then hit customs in Montreal, and took 5 days to leave there… they seem slow in Montreal. I dont think you’d have to worry about yours going to Montreal though, since your not down this way, lol ! But it almost seems like it depends on the service type used, be it priority or first class etc., which then decides which USPS facility it gets directed to.
I guess I wont know for certain until I make enough orders from Windstone to verify the pattern Im seeing with shipping, lol ! All I know right now is my foxes are in San Francisco, and that I did pay for the more expensive shipping this time (Priority) .. hoping that this makes it a tad faster than the almost 3 weeks it took for my fishy cat to reach me in NS 😉

My little Foxie appears to be the Perfect example of the Red Fox color ‘WhiteFace/Whitemark Cross’ – as referenced on the Red Fox color chart that Starhorse kindly posted! I LOVE the little black markings on his little front paws! They give him such character and cuteness! My Cutie Little Pebble Red Fox! I’m going to name him ‘Reggie’ – not very original maybe, but that’s what he looks like to me…
