It appears that the live stream may not have worked very well (it did turn off in the middle for a few minutes and we had a hard time getting it set up) and we apologize for any comments that did not go through and went unanswered.

In answer to the question about when the Baby Unicorns might be ready – the very earliest possibility would be Tuesday – but to me that seems unlikely – We’ll know better on Monday evening, after Chessie does her shift in the Unicorn Nursery with them. Please press the notify button on the Grab Bag Unicorn page to be emailed when we hae them, I’ll be restocking from that page even though these are a little different style from the ones in the last batch. And be aware that the price on these ornate babies will be higher than before, and we may limit to one per customer instead of 2.

Whatever the limt is is fine by me, I’m just hopig to be online when they become available since I’m watching the store for like 5 people at this point. I have off Monday and Wednesday so I’m hoping for one of those days. *crosses fingers*

After seeing the livestream I´m absoluetly and completely in love with these little guys. The colours and details are beyond amazing. I never thought, they would be so extremely detailed.
It´s very understandable now that they have to be more expensive than the last batch!

I agree. I wouldn’t think it would be unreasonable at all to raise the prices up to $95 and limit to one… I can’t imagine Melody can make batches like this without a really significant time investment – and it would be nice to see as many folks as possible get one! 🙂

I think 95 is MORE than a good price…those could easily be on ebay for 300-400 a pop…and 1 per should be the limit since there are only 90 of them…that would give more people a chance to own one. I am so tickled pink that she put these beautiful babies out! I just hope I am home when they come out and not at work or something…

A part of me wants two, (the part that wants a rainbow zebra especially) but one may be more fair. I just don’t want a normal(ish) one. I hope they break it up into a batch of super crazy and calm ones instead of mixing them all up like before.

If the batches ARE NOT going to be split, then I do not support the one per idea. It should be two per person if we are taking the risk of getting a baby that’s too close to ‘normal’. I would pay more for a zebra baby or nettuce, but not a plain sabino or pinto, color regardless.

As far as I could see in the livestream, there are some that seemed more or less like the last batch (“only” crazy colored but without any stripes or other fancy details like the rest of them). I´m sure there are people who like the calmer ones better. Maybe there could even be different prizes for the two groups?

I would gladly pay a lot more than the last time for something like this:

I would lean more toward the bald-faced one, than a really crazy art one. So there are those of us out there that would totally prefer the ‘plainer’ ones, fear not for your trades. 😉 Although even the ‘plain’ ones in this batch are out of this world!

I don’t think it’s necessary to split them into “normal” crazy and super crazy. They are all pretty wild fantasy paint jobs. And I’m sure there are plenty of us, e.g. me, who like both.

I expect with fantasy colors like the ones we saw in the Livestream, people should have no trouble trading ones they aren’t in love with for unis they like better. There don’t seem to be ANY “boring” ones. 🙂
