These are all so beautiful! I have a couple coming that should be here next week! I love the pink/purple/teal coloured ones.
My tanuki has a blue/red base with blue and purple designs. He’s pretty! The first photo shows the color shift effect much more than when he is on a shelf indoors. There his body looks dark purple or dark blue with very little red.
I think that he is near the middle of the class photo – 7 rows down, fifth from the right (between two golden brown tanukis).
Not participating, but I really love the patterning and color on some of these. (keep looking at the one 5th from the right on the top row) I hope many of them are shown here for our vicarious pleasure!
Mine’s in L.A. and should hopefully be here tomorrow (Our old mailman used to delivery around 10-11am – the new one comes 5pm or later so mine may sit over the weekend). I’m hoping for one I love, but I’m not sure about the designs. If it doesn’t resonate with me I’ll probably look to trade for fancy Tanukis from the last batch or unis/pebble dragons/ponies or the like.
They are so lovely! My guy was delivered this afternoon, but I’m visiting family out of state this weekend. I can’t wait to get home and see what he looks like.
I don’t know what to think about mine. It’s definitely colors I love (maybe needs a bit green instead of pink?) but it’s not really speaking to me. I wanted a wispier/fluffier pattern unless it was like this but more visceral (jellyfish nervous system kind of crazy hehe). I do like her but I’m definitely open to trades too. Don’t hesitate to shoot me a PM if you like her!
I’m hoping to get mine tomorrow but my mom’s arrived tonight and she’s a stunner. I might have to trade with her 😂

My tanuki arrived yesterday! I haven’t met him in person as I’m a long haul trucker and won’t be home until next week. But my husband sent my impatient self pictures because I couldn’t wait for the surprise any longer. I was very happy to get a lovely willow-patterned cutie. And the purple shift base is just lovely. He’s my first Windstone! 🙂 Now I just gotta wait for him to tell me his name haha
