        A few months back, I got a damaged white mother from Skigod. Here are the pictures she had posted:

        Well, I had some fun here. I’m not a scuptor, but I managed ok. I used drywall compound:



        which has a great feature: you can just wipe it down rather than sanding it, so no damaging the existing paint.
        After the first wipe-down:

        Then I did another coat and wipe-down, etc., and painted her. I was surprised to find an almost match with the Artfolk, Metallic Champagne.

        From up close, no one here would be fooled, but from a display distance, she looks fine.(No flash on the first picture, so all the faults are really showing)

            She looks perfect from a distance and like she was a lot of work up close. You did a good job!

              Oh my! That is much better than I ever could have hoped for. I am soooo glad she got fixed up! You did a beautiful job and you cant even tell she was repaired!!!
