No problem! I used an easy trick to lighten it. In photoshop I duplicated the image into a second layer and set that layer to “Screen”. Then I flattened the image and saved it. Screening works well to lighten pictures that don’t have the best ligthing without distorting the colors much.

Well, here is my newest swap (outside the regular one.) I painted.
Fauxbird wanted a Ki-Rin with blues and greys…Since she was a metallic, the greys sorta look silver, but they aren’t supposed to be… π‘
And this is what happened when I didn’t realize I hadn’t given enough time for each coat to dry…Actually, I had to scrape off the paint along most of both sides…I had thumb prints and flakes off all over the sides… π
Which is why she is named Calypso…(Plus with the heck she gave me, and the fact Pirates 3 was playing in the background… π )
All in all, I really enjoyed doing a Ki-Rin this detailed…Most of the others were simple dry brush on the mane and tail areas…
