Wow, the green/purple ones have so many colours including blue which I like! I also love the red/gold and magenta/gold ones! I would still love to see the cyan/purple ones and all of them together if you get pictures of all of them Werepanther!
Looking for rainbow or pink & teal grab bags!
January 16, 2016 at 5:33 pm #940024I’m puzzled though, the store pic shows black facial markings for this color but your guy doesn’t seem to have them. Am I just not noticing them in the picture?
I was wondering the same thing. The colors I was going nuts over all had dark facial markings, which was a game changer for me and I opted out of getting any. So do they have the markings or was it an illusion caused by the paint?
Wanted: "Dragon Fruit" Male Dragon ~ "Fire Berry", "Paradise", "Dragon Fruit", "Tie Dye" ~ The brighter, the better!

It could be an illusion, though my magenta/gold cougar does have black lines from her eyes to the corners of her mouth. Maybe it depends on the individual cougar?

January 16, 2016 at 7:28 pm #940029You know, it’s hard to be a responsible adult an curb spending when you guys keep posting all these beautiful Cougars! The sooner the lady cats or bat ears come out in these colors, the better!
Love baby kirins, safari poads, mini keepers, and anything BLUE, BLUE, and, oh yes, BLUE.
January 16, 2016 at 7:35 pm #940031Thanks, Melody. You have done another amazing job, these cougars are just stunning.
I can’t take credit for a new paint! I am very pleased with the way it looks on these cougars.(This is melody)
January 16, 2016 at 8:31 pm #940034Ah, but the sculpt is what brings the paint to life. 😉
January 16, 2016 at 8:47 pm #940036I received my cyan-purple cougar today. There is interference paint all over the cougar. So in most lighting conditions it is a deep plum color instead of blue. I was hoping for mostly blue with some purple highlights. It is much the reverse so he is almost black inside in normal housing lighting conditions. I love the color blue and purple so this was the first cougar I wanted to buy in color shift. I was hoping to display him with my gorgeous GB ziger Cougars. I think he is probably too dark to display with them. Gonna wait and see. I may have to rethink my display and change up the lights and setup. If the gold-silver gets restocked I will probably order that also, it should be much lighter.
January 16, 2016 at 8:59 pm #939988One more “Skittles” – color cougars to acquire and I’ll be tasting the sweet complete feline rainbow! :-p Just need a green-purple… help!
Forever seeking: plum, chili pepper, and tattoo oriental dragons and kirins.
January 17, 2016 at 8:18 am #940081I would love to see the cyan/purple if you can get pictures! As for the black eye marks on the red/gold and magenta/gold cougars, it looks like some pictured have them so maybe one or two were just forgotten. I would actually love one without the markings but will see what mine looks like when it arrives!
Also nice pictures Etruscan! I got the same colours so I hope I like them! I am still debating if I should get the cyan/blue one and sell the green/purple one but I wish I could see more pictures of both together!
Looking for rainbow or pink & teal grab bags!
January 17, 2016 at 3:59 pm #940089January 18, 2016 at 12:55 am #940109January 18, 2016 at 3:24 pm #940123After studying different angles of view and such, to have the base color show the viewer must be at an angle directly in front of the cougar with the light source at the same angle. Otherwise there are so many diffuse flecks in the paint that it will be color shifted. Where I have this display unit for my smaller Windstones this isn’t practical for me as I have the unit in a corner of the room to keep it out of high traffic areas and the seating is all towards the middle of the room. I might move the Cougars to a smaller unit more towards the center of the viewing angles relative to seating. The dragons and Griffins will have to move though as the scale of the sculpts don’t mix. For stationary objects such as Windstones sculpts this is all a consideration for how you are going to view and enjoy color shifted pieces that inhabit some stationary display unit. I guess you could use a rotating electric bass too if you want to enjoy seeing the color shifts.
January 20, 2016 at 3:31 pm #940223Here is my Teal/Green Cougar. She is beautiful!
I took the photos in a room that has a large window and french doors. So it is well lighted but no direct light can get to the bookcase where she is displayed. I Took all the photos within a minutes time and tried to keep the camera close to the same distance away as I stepped around the cougar to get pics of how the color shifts.Last photo just a shot from above…
Looking for:

I love how well “used” the books on your shelf are!
