Thanks ladies. I have a tendency to get bored and change things. hehe Don’t feel badly Em. When I first saw Phoenix’s Frodo avatar, I couldn’t figure out what it was. I was focusing on the tip of the nose and was wondering if it was a mushroom or something. I had to lol at myself on that one!
April 13, 2007 at 9:34 pm #560605Like everyone else, I collect too many things:
Michael Whelan dragons
Pocket Dragons
some soft sculpture dragons
Star Trek stuff of all kinds
books
Breyer horses, mostly Halloween and Christmas
several series of Hallmark Christmas ornaments

I’ve seen a few really pretty or cute TV Lamps, but since I’m not a big die-hard collector yet, a lot of the other ones I like go for $100 and up so…meh.🙂
Hey…can you show me a pic of what these are? I might have one….
The two I like best are these:
Rhinestone eyes
One like I saw in the antique store (only THAT one had a red bulb! Too cool!)
Kittie
Kitty againSome other interesting ones…
a horse
a Swiss-Cheese owl
This panther seems to pop up in every color imaginable.

A strange fishApril 14, 2007 at 8:00 am #560607Those are neat, Wolfen!
April 14, 2007 at 1:14 pm #560608My by far largest collection is Windstones but I also collect…
Duel-lighted Hurricane lamps and swag lamps, table lamps that are old and everyone thinks they are ugly.
Books – All of Stephen King, some Dean Koontz, John Saul, James Patterson. ALOT of horticultural books (House plants, trees and whatnot), and fish books, freshwater fish, pond, and Koi books (ALOT of fish and plant books.).
DVD’s – around a hundred & VHS – about 125 store bought
CD’s – 100
Shoes – about 30 pairs
And Sharpie Markers…I have all the colors both in thin and thick tips, I use them for drawing.
But really none of it adds up to Windstones. Plus I don’t go looking for those things, I just sorta end up bringing them home with me. 😯June 3, 2007 at 2:41 am #560609😀

Those are lovely. Sorry, about the hokkaido. It is a sub-species of the red fox. I’ve seen a few pictures where they almost look golden. Very pretty.

June 6, 2007 at 3:47 am #560616I love that collection, zorse. Those pelts are beautiful! Where do you find that stuff?

In *tons* of places. Flea markets, eBay, garage sales… a lot of the bones you see I scavenged from dead animals I found, then cleaned the bones myself. In any event, a lot of the stuff I get is in pretty sorry shape. I spend many hours meticulously restoring what I find.
June 6, 2007 at 4:21 am #560618They look great. I wish I could find skulls like that around here. 😆
