Random update…still hiding htouhg..
i am still working on this foo dad but fianlly decided i had had enough airbrush practice. This is my first time using and airbrush for an actual project and I was asked to paint a foo dad just like a foo mama that Kyrin did.
Hope everyone likes it. Oh and if you see this Kyrin, what do you think of him? The picture next to it is of kyrin’s piece.

I think it would be. I really enjoy using it, though it definitely takes some practice to learn to control the brush and it is not so nice on my bad joints (but today it was not so bothersum..yay!) If you are looking into getting a whole kit w/ compressor, i would recommend tcp global (the best deal I found) and then buy a regulator from coast airbrush.

All done except for the gems. For my first airbrush, i think it turned out pretty well.

First time spotting this thread of yours! It’s very nice. I enjoy seeing how someone’s art changes and improves over time. I especially like your butterfly paintings and the PYO Windstones. Also the first dragon illustration you posted. The eye and scale work are exceptionally nice!

For the name, I’d go with the one with the less bling – it’ll show up better. Your bling is the weasel; the name should be more “conservative” color-wise.

It sort of balances with the pink weasel head in front of the lettering. In an overall sense, I might suggest solid color lettering in grey or black or, I suppose, pink but that’s only my taste.

Here are a couple of mid progress art things:
This was a pre-printed copper scratch art that i used for some practice on learning detail and control with my scratch pen. Basically a break for my brain and some simple practice with a new tool. Currently on hold for a potential buyer. Shiny and pretty, i enjoyed this.
a butterfly tile I am carving, tryin out a prospective new media for another very looooonnnng semi-commission from a freind. More of a challenge really..more on that later after the following flapcat is done.
I am very iffy about restarting the flap cat right now, but like butterfly in the bush, I am going to persevere, because in the end it was much better.
