You’ve done some really nice work with the tiger’s face. Really like him.

Thank you guys! I still got some work to go, but I am very pleased so far!

And yay, for Mary’s grouchy computer coming back today! That means no more phooey cell pics after tomorrow and getting the kickstarter going!!

As for recent things, Mary and I have started getting some good practice in with pastels. There are three mediums, I am in need of good practice and skill expansion I am currently dabbling in: Pastels, Watercolor and sculpting. She is trying to get more serious about learning pastels and getting some of her own art out as well, although she won’t let me show any progress pics of hers. I am learning new skills myself and getting in badley needed practice as well, and then helping to teach some of what I have learned to her. Each night or so, we are gonna spend around 3-4 hours working on or continuing a piece, both practice and inadvertently making mini- portfolios. Since hers is not done, here is my first finished piece. Photo is fuzzy and doesn’t wanna scan well either…always have that issue with pastels.

Autumn Plains: 9″ x 12″ Soft pastel and pastel pencil on Strathmore watercolor paper. Prints available soon, original is $125.00. Add another $25 if framed. Still Available.

All of the Calendar orders have gone out, our website has got off to a great start and we have been invited to show our work in my boyfriend and his roomates new hobby shop opening up across town in April. I am also going to be doing a large mural in their shop over the gaming area. Our commissions have had much progress and mary (laundry2011) will be posting some of her new work soon on our fb page. I will also be venturing into the world of D&D minies soon at idea of Kevin hoping to push some commissions. So, I am learning all about sizing those right now too. (hobby as in dungeons and dragons, tcg games etc plus airsoft supplies and my artwork)

Also, sculpture in progress (ya know random 2 am inspirations?)

      Ashscale the fire Dragon

Also have a bunch of repairs on my table waiting for me and am doing up a t-shirt today, Busy, busy, busy!

      Edit:

Through the Shallows: A sneak peek of the next pastel piece. About 1.5 hours in so far. Soft pastel and pastel pencils on 9″ x 12″ Strathmore 400 watercolor paper.

I don’t see it. Does it have eyes?

Right hand side – the swath of yellow grass looks to me like a big Fuzzy coming toward the front of the picture. The two tufts of orange grass in the foreground are his eyes.

Yes – Allison has documented the previously unknown Fuzzum giganticus. Imagine if THAT went after your chocolate Easter bunny!

You’d need a really bit bunny. ^_^ They are native to secluded ponds in the lost grass fields of of…er.. brazil…and they.. uh..are experts of camouflage.

been trying to keep busy. Having a hard week this past week. Had constant headaches, and have fallen quite a few times. Shaking a bit, but still trying to at least keep my creative archive going even if I am not working on commissions. That way I still got fuel, when I am back to them.

I have been working on my friends colored pencil peice, but i Have no pics of it. Uh, I can’t remember all I have done aside of working on lots of repairs and the capricorn and butterrfly peices, but these are new as of today and yesterday:

I love the blue tiger! XD Wouldn’t he be a cool PYO paint scheme to try! Perhaps with silver stripes?
