I am just falling so in love with Jungle Flame. The turquoise works so well with the bright, warm colors. I so wish I could try and grab one of them, but alas, no fundage.

I can’t decide if the Fire Berry Kinglet looks more amazing than the Celestial Sunset Spectral or vise versa. I love how the reds and purples of the kinglet really pop against the gold.

Someone really wanted that jungle flame emperor…eesh! Way to go Windstones, for profit, and Gina, for a beautiful piece!

I want to know where the golden goose is that laid the fire berry kinglet egg. 😉

I’m actually excited to see as many hatching pieces as we have in the past few months of auctions. I know they aren’t the flashy pieces that emperors and old warriors are but I feel that *because* they’re more compact the different painting schemes work that much harder to emphasize the details so differently from piece to piece. Not to mention all the unique ways the egg portions can be painted.

etruscan, I completely agree. I do not collect dragons (except the occasional oriental), but the gorgeous paint schemes (especially early autumn) Laurie and Gina create have definitely given me pause. And my schedule has been so crazy lately I have completely forgotten to bid on some I REALLY wanted to go for: cedar wood young and colt unis and orientals and that mahogany oriental to name a few. I am sad, but my budget isn’t. 😉
