I had to look up what the green guy went for after it was mentioned – wow! Over $3,500 for all six fledglings. They will be a beautiful set though! I really wanted the candied grape and candied blueberry.

Okay so all the comments made me have to go and see what the green one sold for… Cripes! I’m glad I already swallowed down my soda before I saw it! LOL!
Congrats to the winner of the set. I missed most of the discussion above. I’m a long time collector and though I used to post many photos I don’t so much anymore. Not that I care about people knowing what I have, but photobucket and photo hosting sites have just gotten way too glitchy and the advertisements choke my connection to pieces. It’s nothing personal. I don’t care if people research what I win. (not that it’s been much lately) and I have had flack in the past for having “too big” of a collection.
Just like wins and losses, you have to dust yourself off and realize they’re just sculptures. Not worth stressing about in the end (even if sometimes you want to secretly blow a gasket when you loose something you really want) but after a few hours the bitterness of defeat wears off when another pretty is posted you can bid on because of the money you saved. Such is life. I’ve figured out who has won a few pieces here and there, but it’s usually out of morbid curiosity. *shrugs*
