Guess who I won (to my surprise). Love the colors on this one – and finally getting a piece by Gina is even better. 🙂
Congratulations! I had to try very hard to keep myself from bidding on this one.
Indeed! He’s a beauty. I MIGHT consider bidding on a fledgling in this scheme (if there is one). We shall see! 🙂

I was going to say the same thing. However, I kind of like the regular eyes though. Not a fan of spectral eyes.

I had a feeling someone would! Myself, I prefer this dragon with regular eyeballs with pupils 🙂 actually, I would be more likely to buy production risers or bid on ebay ones, if they all had regular glass eyes like this. I find it totally changes the dragon! This one is very interesting; I like it!
Wanted: "Dragon Fruit" Male Dragon ~ "Fire Berry", "Paradise", "Dragon Fruit", "Tie Dye" ~ The brighter, the better!

One of the things I like about the Spectrals are their eyes, so I’m not excited about this one. It is amazing how much the different eyes change the dragon!
Since Windstone is playing “Swap the Eyeballs” maybe we can see some non-Spectral dragon sculpts with Spectral eyes? The Fledgling would be great – instant Young Spectral!

I LOVE the paint scheme on that Rising Spectral! And the regular eyes are an interesting addition to this sculpt (I’m not sure the dichroic eyes would match this particular paint scheme). But I must pose a question fueled by humor/curiosity. If a dragon has regular eyes instead of dichroic eyes…is it still a spectral?
I love making stories behind artistic decisions. Maybe this guy is the offspring of a regular dragon and a spectral? 😉

Not a Spectral in my opinion … could be a hybrid. 🙂 It is too bad that Windstone doesn’t have slit-pupil eyes. Those would look good with this paint scheme.

Yes! Slit-pupil would be nice.

November 25, 2015 at 8:22 pm #937476That black rainbow old warrior makes me grin. Perhaps it’s silly for me to say, but the gold rim under his eye is a very nice touch.
