Fennecs

I have been painting fennecs.

They are tiny, smooth, round and slippery. They roll off of their little painting wheels and get jammed behind the turntable in my paint booth. They get little specks on them. They get their copyright notices accidentally sanded off of their bums easily. They roll over on the carts. They find an infinite variety of ways to cause trouble.
But they look like little toasted marshmallows when they are finished, so that is good.
Now we need to stamp the bottoms with our snazzy new pad printer machine!

  1. What an adorable army! Will these be LP or regular production? I’m guessing the former…

And how many in this batch?

I’m just being curious since I’m completely tapped out right now.

  2.
just curious, how much will they probably cost since I remember from the ebay descriptions that they seemed reeeaaallly tiny??
We haven’t set a price yet. It takes a bit of trial and error ( lots of errors) before I can work out the most efficient way to paint large batches of new things. We need to be sure how long it takes to paint these guys before we can set a price.

There are over 200 in this batch, but they haven’t been inspected by the folks with microscopic vision , so I am not sure how many will make the grade.
I plan to make these normal production.

  5. They are going into our store tonight (10/10/11) at 9 pm PST. These are production pieces, also available from our dealers. The first batch is limited to one per customer. The price is $28.00 and the size is 2″ long, 1 1/2″ wide, and 2″ tall. They are REALLY cute.
