The top photo is of both the “plain” and “fancy” grab bag tanukis mixed together. Mantis shrimp go in the fancy batch. The bottom photo is of “plain” tanukis. There are pics of more of these in next blog entry. This thing wasn’t letting my upload three images at once.

Someone asked to see the tanuki with another pebble for size comparison.The wolf and tanuki are almost exactly the same weight, even thought the tanuki looks fatter.

These guys are really shiny, so they are hard to photo. Many of these are pretty similar to each other, because there isn’t that much variation in brindle patterns. This should of been called a “semi grab bag edition”, like the Artic foxes.
