"Aurora" the June 2014 raffle prize

This is the prize for June raffle! (Ok I’ll call her Aurora!)

This Mother dragon is a rainbow colored test-paint. If you compare her to our production rainbows, you’ll see that she is painted differently, and with different colors. She has much more orange and gold on her sides. She has teal blue eyes and aqua colored jewels in her forehead.

If you are a forum member who hasn’t previously won a monthly raffle and would like a chance to win this bright dragon, send me an email with your forum name, real name and address to: Reptangle ( at) gmail (dot) com.

Put the words “June 2014 raffle” in the subject line to be sure I get your entry!
Deadline for entries is 5:00 PST on the last day of June.

She looks like an Aurora… And in the Borealis type. My spelling is probably off. 😛

She reminds me of a gorgeous Mystic Topaz. So… Topaz?

You should name her Makulay which means colorful in Filipino. :3

Pastel Sunrise maybe? Whatever the name, she is gorgeous anyway!

I second Aurora! She makes me think of the sunrise on the ocean, but cold, too… definitely reminiscent of the borealis (and I think you have the right spelling!)

    She’s so gorgeous!

So gorgeous ! Maybe she should be named Arkenstone, a most prized gem from The Hobbit – “cut and fashioned by the dwarves, it took all light that fell upon it and changed it into ten thousand sparks of white radiance shot with glints of the rainbow” ……. Or maybe simply call her Jewel …. whatever her name, she is beautiful 🙂

So pretty! Or course I am all over anything rainbow coloured! I agree she looks like a mystic topaz or even ammolite or a rainbow coloured opal maybe.

I think ‘Aurora’ fits as well!
Good Luck to everyone entering! 😀

Mother Dragons are my favorite sculpt, but I prefer darker dragons, and I’m running out of space… Ack!

I like the names Aurora and Arkenstone as already mentioned. Aurora is the more feminine of the two.

    I agree! That’s a perfect name!

Rainbows always make me think of Skittles, LOL!! Though I do like the name “Aurora” which was suggested. Iris is another possibility too. Apparently it is a Greek name meaning “rainbow” and in mythology, it is the name of the rainbow goddess…:)

How about ‘Gossamer’? Her colors remind me of the colors reflected by a soap bubble. She’s lovely.

Skittles if it has not already been used. XD
Also cool would be Prismara, Floresce, or Chromatica.

Oh, she’s gorgeous, congratulations in advance to whoever wins her, what a prize! 😀

She’s lovely. Perhaps you should call her “Spizzaz”.

OMG I’m kicking myself for not seeing this until now. She’s the most beautiful dragon I’ve ever seen ever! Melody, do you remember how you painted her? You should paint other dragons like this for ebay or other prizes or SOMETHING. She’s truly amazing.

I’m with Wolfen! I’m in love with this color scheme. I even entered and I the Mother dragon is one of my least favorite sculpts. It made her stunning! LOL!
