ACEO Card Swap=sign ups now

They are this http://www.aceo.org/ – ‘Art Cards, Editions and Originals.’ The idea is you paint one and trade it for somebody else’s. I’d be interested but I’m dirt poor, so I wouldn’t be able to afford the card or the shipping. :/ I’ve never traded any but it sounds like quite a bit of fun and a lot of artists sell them at conventions.

I’ve never done one before but I’d be interested in joining if I can use leather as the medium for my cards and the theme is one I can handle.

I couldn’t afford the shipping back to you. 🙁 I’ll have to wait and see if there’s a next time.

EDIT: Um, I know this doesn’t reeeally work with the concept of an ACEO but I could do a virtual card… you know, digitally! I’d just love the idea of painting something for somebody. 🙂 What do you think?

KIMK-I can send you some cards.So paint,draw,however you want and whatever you want.We haven’t done one since last year so we thought maybe some of you would like to join and try it since there are so many new members.You can do it.You can just try one if you want,don’t have to do 2or3.

To me it doesn’t matter what you do or what you use.The size is 3.5″X2.5″.I think a variety of materials adds to the collection.I have 3 small canvas pieces for mine.I want to see what ideas come out.Little treasured pieces of art.It’s all good 😉

Here are a few of mine from previous swaps.Give you any ideas? 🙂 As you can see by these,some people do four piece pictures for you to try and collect.I would really love to get the “Groom” for the “Bride” I have.My daughter is getting married in a couple of weeks and it would be cool to give those to her.The person with the mate,if you want to trade,please contact me.Thanks! 🙂
