embossing powder needs something sticky to hold it in place before you heat set it. it is used in conjunction with rubber stamps; you use a special ink or stamp pad that has a slightly sticky finish to it. stamp your article (card, book, paper, etc.) while the stamped image is still wet, sprinkle embossing powder over it. carefully dump off the extra powder and save it. don’t brush or blow on the embossing powder; it’ll blow away at this point. set the powder by expossing it to a heat source ie. heat gun, light bulb or stove burner. apply heat from underside of stamped image and keep item moving until all the powder melts. you are left with a nice raised image where the powder was. don’t touch it until it cools. I don’t think these can be used like pastels or chalk.

When my family goes camping it means we do a lot of fishing (one of the big attractions of moving to Idaho πŸ˜€ ) My brother in law can’t abide fish of any sort, unless his gra’ma makes it. I was lucky enough to inherit her recipe when she passed away. Here it is:

Fresh brook trout – cleaned and de-headed – frying pan size is perfect
          bacon, uncooked
          yellow cornmeal
          vegetable oil for frying
salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder

season trout to taste with salt, pepper, onion and garlic powder. wrap each fish in one or two slices of bacon. dredge in cornmeal fry in hot oil until done. serve with hot hash browns.

this tastes best with trout fresh out of the brook or lake when the sun is still coming up and the morning is crisp and clear. cold pine tree scent and wood smoke are always a nice touch πŸ˜€

I’m not sure what to think of Claire’s dad, HRG (horn rimmed glasses guy) I don’t think I like him. He sits in a grey area; you can’t pin him down as to whether he is good or bad. I know a lot of people will say that he is acting the way regular people do. Nothing is strictly black or white, but he acts very diliberately, almost coldly, and I guess that’s what I don’t like. On the one hand he act’s like he loves Claire very much, just like a normal dad. On the other hand, he has no problem eliminating people like her. I’m SO confused! It’s frustrating and annoying but it’s what keeps me coming back 😈

All very sound advice. If your friend can’t respect your wishes then you need to take steps to keep your belongings safe. Hanging out in another part of the house or somewhere else entirely should do the trick. If she is upset by that then let her know that once she is able to respect your wishes, personal space, belongings, etc. and you are satisfied that she will, then maybe you can start hanging out in your room again. Using her ADD as an excuse is just a way for her to do what she wants and have no consequences for her actions. It’s also passive aggressive but the results are the same, she still behaves the way she wants to. You shouldn’t have to tell anybody how much you paid for anything. It’s none of their business. They should respect your space because you are friends, not because something was expensive. Hope this helps. Good Luck!

Is there anyway to tell if someone from the forums is bidding on an item on ebay? I would hate to get into a bidding war against someone here. Also, does anyone know how to keep from getting sniped? I really hate when that happens 😈
