I like your photo, kitsunelady. π There’s no flash glare or bright lighting to lighten him up; mine will be in rather subdued lighting and should look just like your picture. π Windstone really did a great job duplicating the aged copper look.
I missed them too, thank heavens! π My first instinct would have been to hurry and buy before they were sold out, but I’m not really wild about the Young Orientals. Now that I have time to think it over, I’ll pass on them. I do like the regular Orientals, and I did get the Copper Patina Oriental with red eyes; I just hope they don’t come out with other eye colors that tempt me to get more. However, I would like to tempted by an Oriental done in red, any shade of red! A Ruby Oriental to match the Ruby Sun? π
Wow, drag0n! That’s a pretty emphatic thank you; I guess that means yes, you do want it. π
“I shall bake you a cake and give you my soul within it!”
You’re in the wrong profession; you have the heart and soul of a poet. π
I hope drag0n didn’t get one herself, or that someone else didn’t get one for her too! XD You know what they say about feast or famine.
Well, I like the red eyes and have one on the way. π
It’s a good thing that everyone likes something different though. Can you imagine the chaos if something new came out, and everyone liked it and tried to buy it? π
By the time I type this, it might be gone! I only saw two, and I bought the other one for drag0n.
I like the red eyes; he’s too bland with the brown eyes. I just received the Copper Koi Ki-Rin. He has brown eyes, and I love him; however, the koi spots give him a bit of color. I saw this Ki-Rin with brown eyes and wasn’t even interested, but I would definitely buy him with red eyes.

Olimpia, at least for now, is no longer painting for Windstone.
Oh no! Olimpia’s work is exquisite. I hope she is back soon. π
I snagged one. I bought her to keep. π
If for some reason I do not like her, I will sell her (at my cost plus shipping) to someone who was unable to get one. However, waiting would be cheaper, and Susie said more should be available soon, possibly next week. π Maybe each batch will have a different eye color. π
I got one only because it had red eyes. π I saw the Blog picture and thought he was somewhat bland. No way was I planning on buying. Yet when I actually saw him in the Store, I couldn’t hit that Buy button fast enough. After seeing him with red eyes, I realize that it was the eye/body combination that I didn’t like; I prefer more contrast.
Wouldn’t it be nice if we could buy and specify the eye color as is done for the PYOs? π
Two left, and I got one! π

I totally recommend this seller
Good to know–she does have a lot of nice items for not too bad of a price. Always happy to support a good ebay seller! π
I agree that Indegoheart is a great seller. I bought my Pearly Pink and Black Gold Laps from her, and I just bought another item from her yesterday. π When I saw she was the seller, I didn’t have to worry if the description was accurate or if the packing was adequate….I just hit the BIN button fast! As Leigha said, “I totally recommend this seller.” π
Also needing pictures are the regular Spectrals. Three of them are in stock but have no pictures. π
Thanks to both Susie and Nicole for the Rainbow Lap picture; I have been checking the store for it for a long time. I see that six Rainbow Laps have been sold since the picture was posted yesterday and am reminded of that old saying about a picture is worth a thousand words….or in this case, a picture is worth sales, sales, sales! π
kitsunelady wrote:Yeah, I use Firefox, so I can’t right-click ebay pics to save. o.o; It’s not enough of a problem to make me switch to IE tho. >>;
You don’t have to switch to IE permanently. You can use FireFox and IE at the same time, and IE is already set up and available. π My email is through AOL, so I always have that running, but you cannot open more than one application of AOL at a time. π I have icons for IE and FoxFire on my taskbar, and they both allow multiple applications of their browser to be open at the same time. I can keep an eBay page open on AOL, a forum page open on FireFox or IE, and surf on other open FireFox or IE applications simultaneously. If I find an image I want to copy while using FireFox, I can open IE, locate the image and copy it…….all without closing down or losing any of my open pages that I want to keep open. It is really convenient to have more than one browser open at a time. π
Try using the blue icon for Internet Explorer; it might be the browser you are using that is causing the problem.
AOL uses a version of Internet Explorer. When I use AOl to get online, I can right click and “save picture as”, or I can just “copy” and paste. When I use FireFox to get online, I cannot save my pictures without saving the whole web page. Also when I use FireFox, the right-hand side of forum pictures are cut off; the same picture through AOL is complete.
