Oh please please please!!! I’ve been waiting for that and the time is getting close. My cousin (whom I’m staying with for now) is about to lose her real Tuxedo kitty. He is getting so very old and it is showing terribly. He is on pain meds and I want to get her that piece as a memorial. We’ve been wanting to do that since they first came out as it would be an eventuality anyway. But now, the reality of it is quite setting in.
I really squeak for that Flap Cat, please.

Now, if the darn avatar (which I did not change) would just appear for pete sake! I know, that has nothing to do with WE, but to do with my host. First time it hasn’t appeared but that’s alright. I’m sure it will again sooner or later.

OK, I see what happened. The first time I tried this, it just locked me out. Then doing it again now, it says I was locked out and needed reactivation. Checking my email (that I changed it to), there was a reactivation link in it. Clicking it allowed me to sign back in.
Now, I’d like to change the password to something I can remember best. Hopefully it won’t fiddle with me again but if I don’t come right back here, you’ll know I was locked out and have to email you.

OK, sorry this has taken me so long Jen, but you know… life. I will try your directions to the letter with the new password you emailed me. All I ever wanted to do was change the email address to this account. All the fields you listed above I have always been able to see.
What got me into trouble was I went and put in the new email address, then I thought I had to do a new password, confirmed it, etc. Then I was locked out. I’m going to try to do the email change right now. If I don’t come back here and post that all went well, that means I got locked out again and will have to email you.

Hi all,
Over here we are changing several things including passwords, emails, ISPs, etc. I go to my WE account page and try to alter my email address and it asks for password and email, etc. Obviously I’m already signed in when this is happening. But it won’t accept anything new. Tells me my password has wrong characters (both for the old that I just signed in with, and the new I’m trying to change it to) and wrong email, etc.How do you change your email address on this board? Guess thats what I’m aiming at. Thank you!

I so want that Copper Patina Mother Coiled but can’t afford the store price right now let alone anything more. Wish I could cause I’d love to take it off your hands! The person I’m collecting for has her hands full with medical bills and again, couldn’t even eek out the store price at the moment. There is something in the store she wants now but she can’t until she is next paid (which is soon but they’ll be gone by like, tomorrow). I’ll have to keep an eye on this thread though and see what transpires.

Yup, she didn’t get the 997 or April raffle emails. I still have them in my Sent box though (they did go out but I never clean out the sent box). It was just one of those AOL things cause she got the email inquiring about this and responded!
But MEL, you didn’t answer my question about whether you got the first batch of Buckskin photos sent from that same address. Thought I’d mention it here in case you come back to this thread.
::sigh:: I tried. Cousin says she isn’t surprised because she never wins anything anyway (raffle wise through out life; competition was a different story). She’s use to it. Though she is not entering this next raffle, I’ll keep trying to enter her in the raffles she does want and hope Melody continues to get those emails. I refuse to enter raffles for myself because I’m living in the same house as my cousin right now and just feel funky about it. But I’m OK, I can live through other winners 🙂

I would wager that since you don’t mention a reply email, that you might not have gotten entered.
That would stink cause she made a donation that would have entered her numerous times in that raffle. Bummer. She really really wanted that Griffin, and the Unicorn was her second choice. She’d even have taken the Flap as her final choice.
I just emailed Melody and CC’ed Susie to be sure she got that right now. Course, that means she may not be getting the reference photos of buckskins I’ve sent either. But, for the most part, when she does enter raffles, Melody does confirm. I just can’t remember recently. AOL is a temperamental shnook.

Funny you should mention it and as your first post too! But I was also thinking black wings with some kind of interference (so they aren’t identical to the mane and tail), would be an awesome contrast for a Buckskin Pegasus. However, I’ll bow to the master (mistress?… well, you know what I mean) and say she can do what ever she finds most appealing cause I know my cousin will be thrilled beyond belief if there are store Buckskin hoofers. Now, if that happens, we just have to keep her blood pressure under control! At least it’d be a positive spike 😀
I sent you some photos Melody, one of a series of batches from a private collection. I don’t know if you are getting my emails from her address. I know sometimes AOL can be temperamental and we sometimes don’t receive emails and others don’t get them from us. Depends what side of the bed AOL woke up on that day.

We didn’t get a card. My cousin made a nice donation and we got a letter from the school telling us thank you and where the funds would be allotted to, but we didn’t get a card from Melody. I wonder if she got the email even saying we donated so she could be entered in the 997 raffle. AOL can be AOHell sometimes.

Awe, Melody, you’re a peach! Hope my loud squawk wasn’t too deafening! 😳 My personal email has been screwed up for a long time and being that I’m living with my cousin to help take care of her in recovery, we all use hers. You’ll recognize it. Besides, the title of the email will let you know the Buckskin photos are in it. I just have to hunt them down on her computer and format them for email… they’re everywhere!
I think I just got lightheaded at the prospect of Buckskin Pegs being in the store (hopefully either large batch or more than once or twice cause no matter how many of us are constantly watching the store from over here, we seem to have horrific timing and miss many first go ’rounds). I’m giddy for my cousin. I’d do anything to keep her frame of mind positive. Just hope it didn’t cost you your ear/eye drums!

Hi Melody!
While I love this colouring myself, I’m posting for a family member, bedridden in recovery. Paraphrasing but coming darn close to exactly what she has said, while there isn’t much that could make her give up or sell her Windstone collection, she is *so* desperate (for a very specific reason) for production or LP (in the store) Hoofers in BUCKSKIN colouring, she would! She even says dorsal stripe not necessary (if it’s too much). I doubt it’s the meds but her big statement was that she would give up almost her entire WE collection for a set of Buckskin hoofers (that is a lot)! Her first squeak is for Pegasi to be done in them because this would be a memorial (wings/angels, parallel), but if you simply cannot, Unicorns would fly with her as well.IMO, I cannot express to you enough, how desperate she really is for this colour to be released in the store where she, as well as other Buck lovers here, can afford and enjoy them… have a fighting chance to get them, rather than weep at watching them (or similar ones) tick down on ebay. Females of the hoofers are her first choice if that makes any sense or difference to you.
With respect, we realize you have tons of squeaks going on so we hope this one more is no inconvenience or pressure. We understand and respect the creative process and pressures that it can carry. Thank you for reading.
ps: she offers to email you many personal photos of her late buckskin if you need great resolution photos from many angles, if you’re so inclined.

*THAT* is a colour combination I’m talking about! I’d love love love to see that on so many other sculpts for the store! Please! Mammoth squeak for that colour combo, or something very close to it (bring in a bit more of that green and gold, to temper the purple so it distances itself from the Amy colouration).
My friends and family that enter the raffles love the colours for sure, but were wanting a different dragon sculpt being they don’t collect the dragons much. Would kill on an Oriental. And I definitely SQUEAK FOR THIS COLOUR ON A CURL!
