Ah ok. Thank you! I’ll try ignoring it and see what happens. I’ll just make sure I can pay another way if Paypal won’t go through. If push comes to shove I may open another account with a small amount of money in it. Unfortunately, my bank charges a $8.00 maintainance fee if my balance goes under $300, so I’d have to use another bank.
Thank you for your help everyone!
I’ve got a question about Paypal and they won’t give me enough space to type in the question, so I was wondering if anyone else has this problem.
I’m being told that I’m about $300 away from my sending limit before I HAVE to become verified. I don’t want to give them my bank account (I don’t see this as making things more secure like they claim), nor do I want their credit card. Is there a way around this? Maybe cancelling my account for a little while?
I’m glad that you had fun. I really enjoyed showing you around today!
It is pretty hard to find! Even though I live here and had mapquest, it took me about an hour to find it! Even when I did find it, I was unsure it was the right place because their sign merely says “Vacuums”.
Wow! That’s amazing! I love how you brought out all of the little details and all of the different textures.
Hehe…you’re welcome GB! It was great to get a chance to meet you! I’m glad that you liked the store. It’s such a neat little store, but you can’t tell from the outside.
Nam, unfortunately I don’t know very much about my quaker’s young life. She doesn’t fly very well and gets extremely nervous when taken out of her cage. I think that she’s probably been in a cage most of her life. I got her from a pet store and really should have known better. She’s not very well trained, and I’m in the process of training her. I coax her out with treats and leave her cage door open so she can come out on her own free will. I don’t have any cats or any other animals and keep an eye on her when she’s out. I make sure that no windows or doors are open when she is out. I love her, and I would never consider her disposable. Would you recommend that I not clip her wings? She’s really flighty and flies into things or into the kitchen which can be dangerous. Please let me know if you have any other advice that might help with training. My cocatiel was relatively easy to tame and train, and my Quaker is quite a bit more stubborn.
Thank you for all you do Tom!
PM’d you. It would be really neat to meet another forum member!
We used to have a pair of Quaker parakeets that lived and nested in our area. They somehow managed to survive just fine though the Colorado winters. However, they started nesting next to a power transformer and thier nest caught on fire several times. They kept rebuilding it, so the utility company had to catch them. They were given to our zoo.
I’ve had two birds. My first bird was a cockatiel that could fly extremely well even with his wings clipped. The vet even clipped a few extra feathers, but it didn’t work. He would always fly circles around the house hitting nothing and then land on the curtain rod and wait for me to get a chair and get him. The bird I have now is a Quaker who doesn’t fly very well at all. I have her wings clipped because she is a really clumsy flier.
Wow, that is one beautiful dragon! I really wish I could afford one.
GB, where are you in Colorado?
Man, it looks like you guys had so much fun! I wish I could have been there! Maybe someday.
Eh…
It looks like a poorly painted combination of the two spirit wolves that I’ve gotten from DragonsCavern. It’s nowhere near as nice though. (I would know since I own them.) Looking at her history, she’s probably copied and adjusted them. It’s a shame. There’s so many different ways to do a Native American themed one without it being so simiar to DragonCavern’s wolves.
Ohh.. I’d love an old green curlie or old warrior.
That is weird. I hadn’t noticed it before. It’s the picture of the pink eyed albino griffin. His feathers are a flat white color and his eyes are pink with red pupils. They’re really cool, but the last I had heard there weren’t any plans to make more. I’d love to have a family to go with my male.
