My b/f was in the dog house all week for being a jerk and blowing me off TWICE! So he took today off to try and suck up, I mean make up with me. OF COURSE I want to watch ebay, but I think I may have to go out and be spoiled with a free dinner. Decisions decisions =)
That’s nice that he is trying to make it up to you, but his timing sucks if you wanted something from the factory today.
ruffian wrote:Does anyone else wonder if someone at the factory is sitting there reading all this as we wait, stareing at the EmPea curls just to see what we will say next to keep occupied?

Someone there probably is…..they will wait until we get totally frustrated doing the refresh thing, and then post them. Nothing like dangling a carrot to keep us interested! 😆 This would make a great research project for some psychology grad student.
Big spiders and cockroaches (especially the big ones that look like beatles). At least I haven’t had to deal with that since my family left California. I guess it’s too wet here in Oregon for them. 😆
The last curls came out about 10 am-ish Pacific Time. I assume they will be about the same this time around. I hope griffins are coming out too!!! 😀 😀
Ok. Since I don’t have any pets, I’m going to ask a stupid question. Why would dogs like manure or ….uh….feline eclairs? Does it have any type of nutritional value? 😕

I totally agree. Especially the original oriental dragon! He is such a wonderful sculp. White would be a great color or even red (like Mushu from the movie Mulan). Heck! Any new color!!! 😀

EWWWWWWW!! 😆

I could definitely use one of those! 😆
Or a memory keeper – short term thoughts seem to go out of my head before I can catch them!
wolflodge100 wrote:how about dream keeper?
Ohh. I like that one. It goes with the idea of creating your “dream dragon” that PYOs are all about. 😀

Ditto….
airbrushing is great and all but this one looks a bit dull to me….
and what about detail in the scales….
I normally like things that are airbrushed because of the softness and blending that can be achieved, but I have to agree, this one is not a favorite. I don’t know this artist, but from all I see posted she is apparently very good.
Is it just me, but from the photos it kinda looks unfinished? I guess I’m comparing it to what forum members have done, and especially with the belly and the scales, so much more could have been colored, accented, etc. I got the impression that the artist lost interest half-way through the project and decided to stop. I think its great some members really like it, and besides, art is so subjective, I don’t always like what is popular. I hope it sells well because it will help when forum members post their PYOs, but for this piece, I would want more for $200.
Happy Birthday

Riley evidently loves lasagna and jumped up onto the dining table and jumped into the pan and started eating it – guess no one told him bunnies are vegetarians since he ate the meat as well as the noodles. Another time his owner was eating a piece of chocolate and Riley tried to grab it out of her mouth. He got her lower lip instead – she has a scar there now from the bunny! Riley makes me think of the bunny from Monty Python and the Holy Grail – Run away! Run away!
I can see it now “When cute bunnies attack!” or “Attack of the ravenous Rabbits” (coming soon to a theater near you!). 😆
Its always the cute ones you have to watch out for.
I don’t know about favorite colors, but she likes soft cookies like sugar cookies, and the I don’t think the chocolate chip ones I sent her (back in December) went to waste either. Sorry I couldn’t be more help. 🙁
I have to admit that I thought the copperplate griffin would break $500, but I’m even suprised it has gone over $550 and the auction is still running. Way to go Nam!
