You are welcome but how can I not show him off? That color was amazing on eBay but just spectacular in person! It was the first test paint color I bid on and was willing to go quite high!  The fledgling came first and then I saw the riser and just HAD to get him…I put aside other wants for that guy!  🙂 I still love my emperor even more than him though, I have wanted an emperor for years and years…when I could finally pick one out this year it was black gold that won me over.  I LOVE that color and the blue eyes. (I would have loved him in emerald green or rainbow too, but alas neither was available.)   I just ordered a black gold hatcher to keep him company too, that’s his new little son coming along. LOL

Thank you!! That is the 2nd of the test paints I also have the fledgling. I wanted more but ran out of funds. The riser is spectacular in that color. I keep squeaking for limited production because I would love more pieces. I also forgot two pictures that show my male Kirin that I have wanted for AGES (thanks Linsey Vana!) and the fledgling as well as two silver wolf griffin chicks. I am looking for the male and female silver wolf griffin too if anyone has that for sale…

LOL thank you Nightcrow, best club I ever joined! But I fell in love with Melody’s work as far back as high school! When did you see or buy your first? I saw my first at a scifi con of all places! The guy had the white dragon family. I wanted the male so bad but my dad would not buy it. Some time later a store in the mall had them (said store no longer exists unfortunately) and I saw the jade scratching dragon and the look on my face was the same as my avatar pic 😆 I did not have the money but the store owner offered layaway and I was like YES!! $10 a week for several months and then I took him home so happy!!

My grail was always an Emporer dragon since the early 90s when I started collecting and got my first piece, a Jade scratcher. And now one is on the way in Black Gold, which was the last in stock and I thought he looked marvelous in that color scheme. So I am happy to say that after SO many years an Emporer is finally flying his way to my house!

So I guess now my new grail is a Secret Keeper…I’m working on it!!

Empress dragon (adult)

King dragon (adult version of Kinglet and perhaps a bit bigger than an Emporer but not as big as Secret Keeper)

Hatching griffin chicks

baby Gargoyle dragon

Mother dragon sitting instead of lying down

Dragon nest (with maybe three eggs but one is JUST starting to hatch or has a “crack” in it)
