Hurray! Lion Kirins! I would adore a lion kirin. He would be kinda like the center of my collection. All other windstones would look to him 8)
I think the last time we heard, she was working mucho amounts of hours and that can seriously wear on a person. If you barely have time for yourself, even if it’s just getting groceries, anything else, like a forum or blog tends to get placed on the backburner, whether you’d like it to or not. 🙁
Concerning a pool of pieces that have ‘fallen out of love’ rather than having someone have to keep them all at their place (which could get a rough due to space constraints, or just if something were to happen). Perhaps the person who were to keep track of this could keep a list of pieces that are ‘donated’ to the pool. The person keeping track of everything would then contact the holder of an item on the list when it is needed. This would work whether the person were here in the states or elsewhere. Money wise, that I’m not sure how best to have that work if it were an item on not the pool. Perhaps like it was just done (everyone participating send X amount to whomever was in charge) as needed prior to giving a gift.
I wouldn’t mind doing this (unless someone else really wanted to jump on this), but I honestly couldn’t keep track of something like this until closer to the end of October (have a few things on my plate that will be done by then).
That sucks! I’m sorry! They do pop up every once and a while on ebay, or are spotted here or there in stores, so I’d say keep putting your money aside in a ‘Peacock OW fund’ of sorts. I’ll keep my eyes out for one!

Yup. Skunks take a while to ‘restock’ the oil that they keep in that little gland that stores it, and it can take time. Only a tiny bit is used, but MAN is it strong! You can smell it from a mile away. Snakes are the same way with their venom. They only have a few attacks (10 I think) before they run out, so they don’t like to use it unless they have to (threatened, to get prey, etc.).
I’m glad you didn’t get sprayed and the skunk found a happy ending. Skunks are so cute! If you do, I believe banking soda and vinegar(I think) are the best thing you can use, like if a pet gets sprayed. Tomato juice works, but takes several attempts and is far messier! I jumped over one once (I was running at night across my college campus, the skunk had almost no stripping, save a tiny bit that I didn’t notice). Didn’t see him until he was almost under foot and I jumped at the last second. It saw me, I saw it (as I turned around) and we both ran in opposite directions! Luckily, no spray *phew* Definitely wakes you up at 11:30pm 😆

Being the skeptic that I am, I do have to say I don’t like the suspicion that this has caused. With no real evidence shown, it’s just all hearsay, rumour, or theoretical, which can lead to false accusations and finger pointing needlessly. If this was directed at someone in particular, I don’t see where posting something vague and cryptic accomplishes anything constructive. The community here is so inviting and supportive as compared with others I’ve know (online or otherwise) and I’d hate to see something as little as a vague suspicion fracture that. I’m not trying to come across as mean, but this is how the original post comes across to me.
