I was looking at the Gallery and saw the lion kirin #2. Are you planning to make this a production piece I think it looks great?
Have you ever found any of the pieces that were stolen or have the police found anybody who might have done it?

September 16, 2007 at 10:36 pm #617446Ditto!
And I’ve love to see the lion kirin in production too.
September 16, 2007 at 10:43 pm #617447I fell in love with the Lion Kirin the first time I saw Melody’s picture. I know Melody’s extremely busy now, with the move and all the other new stuff, but I’d really love to see that kirin sometime in the next year… :squeak:

Me too! :squeak: :squeak:
By the way, I first saw him on Melody’s Elfwood gallery — check out all of the comments that he’s gotten!

Have you ever found any of the pieces that were stolen or have the police found anybody who might have done it?As a matter of fact, I am working on lion kirin #2 right this minute. He isn’t too far from being finished. Probably limited production, though I guess we could try him as production. This character , like the Poads(tm) is one of my personal sculptures, so I don’t expect that the random public would be interested in it… but you never know.
No, never heard back about any of that stuff. I’m sure those pieces are in a landfill somewhere by now. There was a perfectly painted and finished poad(tm) that may of ended up somewhere, but the rest of these sculptures were unfinished, so they most likely got tossed.September 17, 2007 at 6:40 pm #617450Oh! I would love to see him production! 😀 I think he would appeal to more people than you think.
September 17, 2007 at 6:58 pm #617451Hopefully, the person(s) that stole them ended up in a landfill somewhere…. 😈

Instead I will turn my thoughts to the lion kirin #2 being completed! *hops up and down exitedly* He is so gorgeous and full of personality, I can’t wait! I would think he’d do great as a general production piece, too. 😀 😀 😀

Ditto. I honestly hope there’s a Karmic B***h-slap waiting for the man/woman/worm/whatever who did that… I mean, stealing something like leather gloves or a radio or something is plenty bad enough, but what possible reason could they have had to take unfinished sculptures and wipe out someone’s irreplacable efforts toward their art? It wasn’t even a canvas or something that could be wiped clean and then resold (which, sadly, did happen at our uni art department a while back). That’s low. Oh… so low.
Alright… *breathe, breathe…* I agree with pawpad. Happy thoughts… finished lion kirin… on my shelf… happy thoughts… 8)
September 18, 2007 at 1:09 am #617454I actually really like the Lion Kirin too. I may have to expand my collection for one when I can afford it
September 18, 2007 at 1:16 am #617455Oh yes please Melody? Any way I can get one, limited, production, etc. I love this guy most. Of all the non-dragon sculpts he caught my eye and kept it! Please!! 😀 (And my Heart! )
September 18, 2007 at 3:11 am #617456He is gorgeous, and I would love to add one to my collection as well!

He will get made, if only for forum members, because you all were kind enough to like him!
