Oh that is just wrong! Maybe their piece isn’t in as great shape as yours OR they don’t have a way to take pics… (some poeple just don’t have a digital camera yet) BUT that doesn’t give them the right to snag your pictures!

I am wondering, did the peacock color change over the years? The peacock color I remember drooling over in the Wicks and Sticks that we had here was a darker color without such a beautiful intence blue on it. It had more non-rich colors… (that sound bad but I really LOVED that color).

In your gallery you have a peacock mother and a emepeacock mother nose to nose. That peacock color is the color that I remember, not the one I am seeing on the OW’s that are a rich blue.

Hobby Lobby can be such a pain sometimes depending what time you go there. But they do have more! I might go there Monday Morning to check out a few things.

Can’t I get the same effect from watering down the acyrlic paint just a tad??? Probably not huh? I bet those paints are like the “candy” colors you use for cars/trucks… its there when the sun hits it, the more you use in one area the “brighter” it is but you can still see the base coat.

WOW! OUCH! I know what you mean there, I saw a few regular 2 oz bottles of pearly acyrlic paint there with a BOUNCH of dried paint on the outside of the lid (I always shake it up and open it before buying) and I can’t believe that they wouldn’t peel that stuff off before putting it out to sale! OMG! Their prices are pretty good, better than hobby lobby for the most part.

You could squeak for BVF with meee! My OW is so purdy with the blue. I’d be ecstatic to see more in that color. I think a BVF Emperor would look sharp!

Well it looks like I missed out on the peacock OW’s that from what I can see has a lot of blue in them.

That is very true! Lighting is everything when you want to show the colors well! I can see the purple on the chest but I don’t see the “brighter” blues. It could be the lighting. While growing up I remember drooling over the ones at Wicks and Sticks and those Peacocks were a darker color… Who knows! I have been outta the “windstone loop” for a long time! 😉
