I really feel for you & admire your courage for being so honest & taking that huge step . I haven’t been through what you are going through but I know that it is important to give yourself permission & time to grieve the ‘death’ of your marriage . I’m sure other Forum members will have much more helpful & practical advice but do look after yourself . Hugs from across the pond .
Travistie you are so great for thinking of me but another Forum member was very generous & is completing my curlie collection with a silver . Nuke got in touch to let me know about this curlie which was also great . You guys take my breath away with your thoughtfulness & generosity – a BIG thankyou 😀 .

Kyrin needs a holiday
From Windstones needing repair
We’ve sent so many to her
That she’s begun to despair
Of ever reaching the end
Of the ever increasing queue
Comprising dragons , kyrins & unicorns
That she still has to do
Somethings got to give –
Kyrin finally cried ‘No more
dragons , kyrins & unicorns
to be sent to my door ‘
But panic not o collector
Of a broken Windstone piece
This does not mean
That the magic repairs will cease .
Some well earned rest & recreation
are heading Kyrins way
But she’ll be back repairing Windstones
One fine August day .I sent the seller a message asking what had happened to the auction & this was the reply -‘ I apologize . However , a more experienced ebayer walked me through the process . In the future , bid your maximum ; that way nobody can outbid you so easily .’ Guess I’m not pushy enough 😆 .
I actually sent the seller a message before there were any bids on the dragon asking if there was a BIN & the seller replied that he/she would for a reasonable offer . I wrote back to ask what they thought was a reasonable offer & this was the sellers response ‘Unfortunately someone already placed a bid on the item ; I can not end the auction . An exact MINT condition piece such as this with all the tags, box ,and papers goes for 300.00 retail. I was hoping to get half of that’ . I took the seller at their word & sent a message back to say that I would be watching the auction & then I read the post here that the auction has ended 😥 . Makes me feel a bit of a twit that I believed & respected what the seller told me 😳 .
