Next time I’m over in Cape, I’ll check Tobacco Lane again and see if they placed an order right after I cleaned them out. They may have gotten some of the first ones too, if they did.

Could be a little bit though.

My guess is for a chatroom too.

I wear gloves when I clean the litter box. My husband can’t do it because of his health condition. I just make sure to wear gloves and wash my hands after I’m done.

That’s more or less all you need to do to keep yourself safe. 🙂

He looks kinda washed out to me. The only ema pea I saw in person looked kinda like a jewel and this guy really doesn’t.

I’d say that’s mostly due to lighting. Flash and fluorescents will do that to anything. I have no doubt he’s just as bright as all the other windstones.

Not to mention, we may very well throw off the entire economy just with the people on this forum. 😆 😆

If you’re bad enough to end up in Arkham, the Batman probably becomes your enemy by default. She could be like Poison Ivy, but with dragons instead of plants.

I hadn’t ever seen one before, so this is a new one on me. If you decided you wanted to sell, 2-medusa, I’d buy. 😉

I haven’t seen the sun dragon in that dark blue or the jade green either. I’m kind of just watching, though, if the sun dragon did wander out in dark jade.

Hi Melody, I’m sitt’n here with my dad talking about the SK and what you could do to make him lighter. Maybe you have thought of this already but he says what about making the body hollow and injecting or filling the hollow part with a lighter substance so that it will not fall apart or crack on the outside, for stability or he said what about hollowing it out and using a metal like branch for the arms and other parts that need to be supported. just a thought. You have probably thought of this stuff already. Bye.

Making the body hollow in the first place is the tough part. This gypum material is strong enough to not need an armature, even if the dragon is hollow.
The dragon needs to be cast with something inside of it, in place, when we pour the liquid gypsum into the mold. So, the core thing that is inside needs to be strong enough to support the heavy liquid gyspum until it sets, and then either be left in place, if it is a light plastic form of some kind, or removed some how. Removing an inner form is nearly impossible unless the form could change shape to be pulled out from the bottom…but then, how would it be rigid enough to hold the liquid gypsum?

Perhaps a balloon of some sort filled with air? Air pressure is a pretty rigid thing when it has nowhere to escape (like a tied piece of latex) and might hold up to pressure as long as the latex or similar didn’t leak. I’ve played around the syringes enough on off days at the vet clinic to know that once you compress air so far, it don’t go no further. It’s not like sand, foam or water.

Once the cast was dry, you could let the air out and remove the latex/balloon.

I dunno how feasible that is, but it’s a thought.

Yeah. Somebody who knows Windstones well enough to know there is such a thing as a Secret Keeper (when they’re not in stores or anything!) ought to know what a Secret Keeper looks like. And what a kinglet looks like. These guys are scammers, plain and simple.

                    My point exactly.

I’m beginning to thing that they’re doing a little false advertising in the hopes that someone will be so incredibly dense.

If it was an honest mistake, they would’ve lowered their BIN prices to something a little more reasonable.

Does this mean the Ruby one is going to be retired soon?Yes, they are not being cast anymore. When the last mold ripped out, the concensus was that they were just too much of a deal to fix. Our mold dept. is struggling to produce the stuff we are getting out, and they just don’t want to fool around with these problem pieces. We have about 100 castings left of the Sun dragon. I will have them painted in some special color, and then that will be it for the near future. Maybe when we are moved and settled we can re-issue all the Orientals in some new color.

Guess that’ll be one of the ones I’ll have to shell out for to make sure I’ve got them all. 😛

OK. Either way, I’d still be looking for a peacock oriental, preferably in the lighter color.
