Here is my small collection of Pebbles 🙂
Coal and Dust, the happy couple 🙂
Lovely pebbles 🙂 Especially Coal and Dust. I have the identical pair of wolves. The black is Silence and the Ivory is Whisper…I won’t be posting pictures because I physically can’t. My new computer won’t accept the memory card from my (old) digital camera. 🙁
Very nice collection, Amstaff. And very well displayed! I started a collection list but have neglected it of late. You make me want to update it LOL. Thanks for the photos
My wolves arrived today! The Ivory wolf emerged first – gorgeous as you all know. The Grab Bag was exactly what I wanted the most -midnight black with the ghost of moonshine on his hip and one foresaw. Magnificent!! I’ve been lukewarm on some of the patterned wolves but this one is PERFECT. They make a striking pair. My black wolf is probably one of the two in the fourth class photo. Can’t tell which one due to the shine. I am VERY DELIGHTED with my pebbles and won’t mind the pasta meals for the resist of the month to pay for them 🙂
I managed to get a GB wolf today (Thank you Windstone for the one per person limits that enables the clueless to snag one the next day!) and an ivory limited production wolf. Can’t wait to see them – I’ve been wanting a pebble wolf since I started collecting a few years ago and I’m really excited! Actually spent my grocery budget for the month – its going to be top raman for the next few weeks but I don’t care 🙂 Looking forward to the pictures too!
Darn! Somehow I got the impression yesterday morning that the new stuff wasn’t coming out until next week and I missed the opening completely. GB red foxes look nice 🙂 Congrats to everyone who got one (they are, of course sold out today) 🙁

She didn’t but was open to suggestions. She originally packed him in one box butt when I responded that he had to be double boxed, she went out and added an outer box, no argument. It’s a good thing she did;when the emperor arrive, your could see where his head had partially broken through the inner box. Luckily there was no damage to the old green. This seller is liquidating her deceased father’s collection and I gave her a five star review because she was so accommodating. The piece had been on display for years and was a little dusty but that’s all (no stains, damage or bad smell). I was very fortunate to get him!
Pardon me if you’ve read this backstory before:
I started buying Windstones in the mid-80’s. I bought a green hatching dragon, a brown young dragon, a green mother dragon, a brown Male dragon and a green Emperor. (I never did see the Peacocks in the store…a tobacco store that went out of business) I loved my dragons. Long story short, between about 2003 and 2009, the Emperor dragon vanished. Suspects – a clutzy housecleaner who would break things and claim “The cats did it”. She never told me something broke – I had to find out for myself but I was bedridden by then. Or, my handyman roommate that turned out to be a thief and a meth addict (he was arrested at my house for taking things from one of his clients). In 2012 I discovered the Windstone website – SOOO MANY PRETTIES! but my Emperor was retired and only available for big bucks second hand. I couldn’t afford to replace him until…he showed up on eBay recently for a minimum investment and I GOT HIM!!!!! :bigsmile: :bigsmile: :bigsmile:

I’ve heard of this disease before and I am so sorry for you and your sister. My bests wishes to you both for a successful drug trial that leads to an early cure.

Here is the link (it’s on my favorite list):Have there ever been Windstone Calendars ? I would adore a Windstone Calendar ! Maybe one made up of pics taken by us collectors, with the top 12 voted for the calendar on the forum?
If you go to the main menu on this site, choose SHOP and then select CafePress Store, you will find all sorts of merchandise with Windstone logos and photographs. I think they even have calendars.
I personally have to stay away from there – too much temptation!! 🙂To get photos to show up in the forum, they need to be coded:
