Welcome, Lindsey!!
My brown mother has that dark stripe, but the body is darker, so the contrast is not as sharp.

Thank you Stephanie, that was it! I checked them out on e-bay; they have a lot for sale but no Windstone now.

I’m with drag0nfeathers, what was the name? I will hit e-bay as soon as I see!
That’s a good start. Remember, a pebble grows up to be a castle!
I used to use an OLD soft toothbrush on my pieces. I didn’t scrub them, just brushed them like I brush my teeth, gently but thoroughly. No soap, just warm water in the sink. Then I would towel them dry and let them sit for about ten minutes, maybe longer, while I cleaned the rest of my pieces. It got most of the dust out, even in the hard-to-reach places like where the tail is curled or the nooks between toes. You have to be careful with the rubies, though; for some reason their colors run. Hope that helps!
Good luck!
I didn’t realize it was your bathroom! Take pictures wherever you can, right?
😀 It was nice of Melody to send you that castle! She is so generous!Mimitrek, I second the congrats! I just finished eating to check how the auction was doing! I never thought that castle would get that high! 😯
You’re more understanding than I am. Patience is not one of my strong suits.
I’m with ski, I hope your move goes well. The new pieces should be secondary right now. Melody, we understand!
What is wrong with these sellers?! Don’t they know better than to mess with Windstone fanatics? I’d be on their hides every other day for my piece, ESPECIALLY if they already received payment! I understand the gas crisis and the need to conserve, but hey! These sellers should also know that word travels fast among us, so if they screw up….well! Oh, and lamortefille, my Windstone pieces sit on dressers, so those should hold up! 😀
I know you’re a Windstone whisperer (like the dog whisperer :D) and you can fix him, but what will you do feedback-wise for that seller?
Oh, okay. As long as you’re okay with it. At least it’s repairable.

Oh PaperCut, I read that and cringed! And moaned…Did you ever replace it? I think some online stores still have it. Last I checked, the Windstone Online Store was out. 😥
