Redbubble is a website that hosts artwork. You can upload your art there, choose products that your work can be placed on and customers can buy products with your work printed on it. The website gets a percentage and so does the artist. I only mention it because there have been a few times I’ve mentioned the website and as a result been asked what it is. 🙂

Especially after the eye strain that guy gave me on some days! -laughs- Now I need to figure out what to do with my two leftover lab opal cabochons. Have to check to see if any of the other sculpts have similar size eye sockets to the little dragon.

He’s finally done! After forever and a day I’ve finished a piece I’ve been thinking about off and on for more than two years! He is all hand painted in acrylics and interference paint (for his opal patches). Clear coated in gloss. I did not use any dip methods to paint him. His forehead gem is natural opal, eyes are laboratory created opal and tail gem is a fire opal triplet. Considering the time, effort and materials I used, I am unsure of selling him. It would take a worthwhile offer for me to do so (no trades). That being said, feel free to PM me about it. Can’t hurt to ask, right? In the meantime, enjoy looking!

And don’t be frightened of that price tag. A single 25g bag is the $22.99 price. Normally when I buy the auto pigments I get 5g sizes, so that is a LOT of pigment.

It is a powdered automobile pigment and they claim it is white and GLOWS WHITE. I have used automobile pigments for Windstones and have mixed them into clear acrylic paint mediums so I know the automobile pigments will work. I can’t say how well this particular product will work though as I have never used it. But anyways, here is the website. Good luck and would love it if you posted pics!

So if you’ve been wanting to commission me for any PYO work, that will be the time to do so.
