What has happened with glass shelves?Well, I’ve heard stories on the forum of them snapping under the weight of the Windstone sculptures. Much to the devastation of the owner and the sculptures themselves.
As for my own personal experience, my mother had an antique teacup collection in her china cabinet. Glass shelves in it spontaneously snapped right down the middle and dumped her entire collection to the bottom of the cabinet. Everything ended up smashed. After that, I don’t trust glass shelves all that much.

I started out recently with only the flap cats found at a value village. Then recently we found a store selling windstones going out of buisness so we got the spectral, amethyst young dragon and fledgling, and the pink/gold fledge. The logostone also came from there as well. My dad brought me down the wizard from the yukon right after that. Today I got the peacock family from someone on craigslist at a great price as well.
Now I need to get a good case to protect them all 🙂

Definitely avoid glass shelves on your case. So many horror stories!

Well, I was high bidder on this beautiful guy for awhile. -laughs- But not for a couple days now. Ah well, got a bit too high for my taste. I wonder how high he’ll go in the last few hours…. Just because of how much a love him, I hope it’s a lot higher (Windstone deserves to get a lot for him!). Ha ha!

It almost looks like one of the hoppy poads. It’s very cute but I’m more interested in the cougar sculpt.
On Melody’s FB caption she said ‘These will be interesting’, leads me think there are definitely more than one, so possibly could be a GB or maybe even a small Ebay batch? I guess we won’t know til she lets us know!

Besides, I love that tummy shot. Very cute! I concur on winning the lottery, dang that would be nice!

Yesterday I was moving my Windstone around and the shelf fell(we found out the pin holding the shelf came out). I push my body up against the opening and stop a lot of them from falling. My husband came running and he save a lot of them. What got the worst was 2 PYO keepers and all my frogs(I will take pictures and ask drag0n to fix please). I fix the PYO keeper the best I could but I know I will never match the paint, but they don’t look bad. Well I am just heart sick and I know crying don’t help. I got every thing back in but now I am not sure I will every touch again. well that is enough for now. Linda
I am so sorry Linda! T_T That’s really awful. You have my sympathies and I really hope drag0n can do something for you. Man, what is with all these shelves!? This is the third disaster I’ve heard of like this on the forums!

Walked in the the small table it was on last night and it fell off and hit a piece of plywood breaking in in three places and reducing a toe to dust. I now have to order a new piece and start over. *whimper*
Oh! My sympathies! That really sucks! But I’m sure the new one will be just as good, or even better! But you’ve definitely not been having luck in the painting department of the swaps lately. Well, your household hasn’t anyways. I hope it gets better soon!
