So this week I received my young amethyst oriental and he is WAY to bright for me. He stands out like a sore thumb on my shelf and takes away from the unity of my other Windstones. If someone does not want to wait to get one I will be selling him at $125.00+shipping(Im not trying to cut a profit but to make up my shipping+customs….I dont want to lose money here.) I would also be willing to make a trade for a burnt sugar poad or two unpainted keeper dragons any eye color but red.

*edited as I no longer need an eyes closed flap cat, but I have a few other pieces I would still tade for.

While Im kind of bummed I didnt get any this time, I have picked up more Windstones this month and debated about buying others more often than I have in awhile….even to the point I sat and put my flapcat in and out of my cart for three minutes trying to convince myself I didnt NEED it (they went from 6-1 in that time period)…..I was not successful in my attempts :). But hey I tried!!!

So my bank account is greatful for the break…especially when Im hoping to get an oriental and an eyes closed flapcat as well.

Windstone is making great production progress compared to last year this time when the move pretty much halted production of anything new other than the Ebay items. I dont mind waiting a bit longer…I just really hope the Keepers are a normal store item this fall, for people to have lots of time to make some x-mas gifts!!!. Congrats to everyone who got one and I cant wait to see some new pics of how this newest batch gets painted up!!!!.

*Also- as crappy as it may be to miss that item you really wanted (trust me I know- yesterday when I missed out on those keepers I found myself muttering the sentence “worst birthday ever” to my boyfriends hysterical amusement 😉 …he just doesnt get it!) It also kind of sucks when people who do get the items start to feel guilty or worried that people are going to get mad at them on the forums for their purchase. ENJOY your purchases and everyone else lets try to be happy for the other guys and know our moment will come- sometimes you miss out but people downsize their collections everyday and if your patient ANY piece you want may roll around on here or on Ebay.

hahah nope I skipped the bid wars and hit the buy it now from 2huberts :D. Just in time I may add as the bidding eventually ran up higher than my buy it now price, If I had waited around in a last ditch effort to throw in a bid I would have lost my chance or had to pay a kings ransom for one :).

I can only hope I will raise one of my future children in the ways of an uber dork, raising them on the classics: labyrinth, dark crystal, willow, training them in the ways of d&d and other fantasy role playng games. When they have proven themselves worthy-Then he or she shall inherit my fantasy kingdom…..if not I shall travel the gaming store circuit in my later years and find a fantasy loving fosterling to inherit them. It has a fairy tale sort of feel to it…find a worthy heir to the throne :)…I like it!!
