Thanks Khat! I use a couple computers and click every single egg/dragon I see several times a day. I just cracked Barrdwing’s blue egg 😀
I already know what the name of the white one will be for I said in Boskydragons new horse thread, that Id name it after her late horse T (I know the full name), as a memorial. One of my green ones Im naming Absinthe.
I see some with many more eggs (and more) than just the 4 I have but the site wont allow me to take on more than 4. Each time I try, it says I dont want to over whelm myself 🙄
I want COLOR! I have twin greens yes, but I want more vibrance like purple or pink… something bright.
This has been verified by not only several vets I know, but since youre all so bent on Snopes, there is a link to it here at the end too. Point is, if you use these as treats for your dogs, stop. Better safe than sorry, right?

Danville , OhioThis week I had the first case in history of raisin toxicity ever seen at MedVet. My patient was a 56-pound, 5 yr old male neutered lab mix that ate half a canister of raisins sometime between 7:30 AM and 4:30 PM on Tuesday. He started with vomiting, diarrhea and shaking about 1AM on Wednesday but the owner didn’t call my emergency service until 7AM.
I had heard somewhere about raisins AND grapes causing acute Renal failure but hadn’t seen any formal paper on the subject. We had her bring the dog in immediately. In the meantime, I called the ER service at MedVet, and the doctor there was like me – had heard something about it, but…. Anyway, we contacted the ASPCA National Animal Poison Control Cent er and they said to give I V fluids at 1 1/2 times maintenance and watch the kidney values for the next 48-72 hours.
The dog’s BUN (blood urea nitrogen level) was already at 32 (normal less than 27) and creatinine! Over 5 ( 1.9 is the high end of normal). Both are monitors of kidney function in the bloodstream. We placed an IV catheter and started the fluids. Rechecked the renal values at 5 PM and the BUN was over 40 and creatinine over 7 with no urine production after a liter of fluids. At the point I felt the dog was in acute renal failure and sent him on to MedVet for a urinary catheter to monitor urine output overnight as well as overnight care.
He started vomiting again overnight at MedVet and his renal values have continued to increase daily. He produced urine when given lasix as a diuretic. He was on 3 different anti-vomiting medications and they still couldn’t control his vomiting. Today his urine output decreased again, his BUN was over 120, his creatinine was at 10, his phosphorus was very elevated and his blood pressure, which had been staying around 150, skyrocketed to 220.. He continued to vomit and the owners elected to Euthanize.
This is a very sad case – great dog, great owners who had no idea raisins could be a toxin. Please alert everyone you know who has a dog of this very serious risk. Poison control said as few as 7 raisins or grapes could be toxic. Many people I know give their dogs grapes or raisins as treats including our ex-handler’s. Any exposure should give rise to immediate concern.
Onions, chocolate, cocoa and macadamia nuts can be fatal, too.
Even if you don’t have a dog, you might have friends who do. This is worth passing on to them.
Confirmation from Snopes about the above…

For Melody’s birthday she opened a raffle. It was announced in her Happy Birthday thread. We emailed her our names, and all the entires were put into easter eggs. Two eggs were chosen, and those two people got a special Windstone.
Thank you! I missed Ms Mel’s BDay?! Im upset that I didnt get to wish her a happy birthday… so belated happy birthday MELODY!
I know my buckskins color shade changed so much with the seasons up in NY (when in FL, she never grew in such a deep coat cause she lived most her life in actual NY winter weather that FL was always warm for her- like me). During cold times, her darker hair grew in and she was shaggy. Though it was proper, when she was clipped for horse show season, it was funny to see her half shaggy and half shaved and smooth. Two different tones.
In warmer weather, she was a warm “honeybear” kind of coloring like light honey. Hence, my email name for those who know it.
Then during competing when she worked up a sweat, her color changed drastically too. Looked like a different horse in morning classes and another in afternoon and night classes once she has worked all day. I love the color and cant wait to hear what name you choose for her.
Please click us so we can hatch like our siblings below. We want life and to “see” you!
Oh oh oh! I can see my eggs now (couldnt before). They are cracking! YAY! I hope they hatch- they only have 3 days left!!!
Guys, hit the first page and please put in some clicks for my last 2 eggs. The stone dark gray one and the second green one. They are VERY low on clicks and views and only have 4 days left. Since I have a cracked green one, I assume the second green will be the same dragon so I am more interested in seeing what happens if that dark gray “rough and hard as stone” egg will turn out to be. So, if you only click one in addition to the newly cracked ones, please hit the dark grey!
LOVE <3
I got that same message yesterday. And, “away for school and sleep?” Pish tosh! J/K! 😉
Hey, look!!! DM, your white egg hatched! Congrats. Being that the site is down, I dont think mine are going to make it.
I really want to see what the spotted egg looks like when it’s hatched. I have so many ideas for colors for eggs. Wish they would do a tie dye one… hippie dragon!
Edited cause I cant spell “school”… how funny is that?! 🙄 😛April 22, 2008 at 1:45 am in reply to: My Raffle Prize Is Here!!!! Thank You, Thank You, Melody!!!! #691678Poor lighting for I wondered the same thing which made me enter to see a larger photo. The purple pea is showing more as reddish.
Plus, I think Rainbows have very deep royal blue (or red) eyes.
Shes very cute! I like “Narelle”. And if you like “Dai” you can add onto it and say “Dai-Dun” or DD for short. Dun being another name for her coloring.
I offer others:
Jezebelle (because of her little ‘tude)
Little Miss Sunshine (Sun, Sunny, Sunshine)
Sassafras (Sassy)
Marigold
SierraI had more but it’s hard when I cant meet the personality. Let us know when/what you decide! Congrats again!

Windstone has done too much branding with their current logo over the years to change it now, plus it can confuse collectors.
I agree with this 100%… location only. Windstonne griffin logo is too much of a staple (well known).
Even with just location changed, like emerald said, the Hollywood ones may just become more valuable after a time.
