Im going to make a thread about this but thought Id list it in here for those looking and reading here too.

I am putting up for sale here first (if offers dont meet what Ive recently seen elsewhere, then theyll go to eBay).

I have a mint, never out of box except for inspection and photo shoot-

*Mother Kirin w/ original box and tag, mint

*Baby Kirin w/ original box, tag, mint

*Young White Dragon w/ the box he was shipped from factory and tag, mint

*Jade (the emerald jade coloring) Sun Dragon w/ original box and tag, mint… pending first offer is $200 from a memeber

All pieces will be shipping in their original boxes and double boxed as well. I am doing a photo shoot of them today and once that is formatted and uploaded to Photobucket, I’ll make a new thread about just those pieces to see what offers I get.

If you want to make offers on any of them now, please PM me. Likely, best offer will get the piece but if for some off chance reason I feel they would do better on eBay, then they will go there. Some of the pieces I sold here, while getting what I asked, did go for considerably more on eBay— which I hate to say. And would normally never care but I simply cant leave my family with the amount of medical bills I may leave them with.

Anyway, happy looking. Im keeping up with your Wish List (ppl laugh at my hard copy but they arent true lovers like all of us) and I will continue to try to hunt down your pieces any way I can.

D’Oh!!! What other unusual pieces do they have in the store?!?

The Black Pegasus was out of Stock for forever and it looks like they painted a new batch.

They have the Black Pegasus Family, the Violet Flame Fledge and Curl are out of stock at the moment. Birman Flap Cat and White Flap Cat are also Out of Stock.

If you could add a Hatching Galapagos Turtle to my list please?

    Your wish… my command!

I wish I could afford him! Urgh.. I harte medical bills 😡

That last image of this precious Griffin violates Photobuckets terms of service? 😕

Yea- those griffins… always being naughty! I know it’s a glitch but it was funny to think the last in the series of shots would be in rule violation. Is he flippin the claw at someone? 😀

Good luck with him. He’s a beauty!

Id confront (which I hate to do but sometimes must) said interfering relatives and politely but firmly hold my ground and not tolerate any interuptions. Ask for that respect should they interupt if you do this.

Id ask that they refrain from insulting your intelligence as well as your parents, and their parenting skills. Explain that you know youre a good person and have made it through life this far. Then institute some boundaries that you wont accept should they cross them. If they desire respect from you, you need it from them. Two way street.

While there may be more danger in the world today than their generation, young adults (well, youre on that verge, so “adult”… ps in all our conversations, I SO thought you were around my age or at least in your 30s!)- ppl have also become more aware and savvy to whats out there. Id say that what they say and do to me, is insulting and that you plan to live your life the way you see fit, which includes choosing your own friends. Youre not a fool and deserve the respect of obvious intelligence in the face of their ignorance.

Id end with saying I appreciate their concern for me but if the boundaries set forth here are violated and they cant view you as an individual, mature adult, that they will be losing contact with their neice (or which ever relative you are to them). That should they embark on one of their rants about your friends, that youll acknowledge this as an overstepping of a boundary and immediately remove yourself from the situation.

Always keep calm and level tone in your voice and what words you choose to use. If they get riled, you can politely call them on it telling them point blank, “do you not notice the difference in posture and tone in the conversation we’re having? I’d say one of us is acting like the adult and the other is not… please excuse me.”

Easier said than done but it works- well for me and many others Ive given this advice to; but only if you hold fast to your ground. Good luck sweetie and dont let it ruin your trip! :water… duck… back:

in reply to: Cat paw pad problems, anyone know? #599694

Well, Barrdwing stole my thunder and took the words out of my mouth verbatim…

    just kidding! 😈 😉

My black and white cat has a thing about his front paw pads (which I chalk up to lingering longing for his claws though when he was a baby 8-1/2 yrs ago, he had an uneventful and normal front declawing). He is like MONK (tv show) sometimes. He is festidious about his paw cleaning. An indoor cat, he cleans the dickens out of his paws, between his toes spread SO wide. He has white socks and pink pads.

Sometimes he really gets to chewing away at his paw pads. He’s never drawn blood from the pads but sometimes from the skin between his toes. I treat that dried blood with peroxide and Q-tips which tickles and bothers him sometimes but is the best way to treat it if he draws blood on that delicate webbing there.

Because of his constant grooming, his pads have displayed some peeling too… all four feet he cleans (and he has back claws). Im a nervous OCD mother when it comes to my animals and would rather over react than under react so of course, my vet came out when this first started happening (I say “came out” b/c kitty is epileptic and when he’s put in a carrying case, he flips right into a huge seizure though nothing bad EVER happened to him during any travel which has been minimal through out his life; vet does house calls for him as to not unnecessarily cause him extra seizures & stress).

Anyway, back on track- in MY particular case, she said his paws are healthy and there is nothing to worry about but if he really gets carried away, to pay attention. Already an obsessive mama, thats not a problem as I notice everything. Vet says for my cat, it’s a soothing behavior (like thumb sucking… mom’s Cornish Rex sucks his tail!) to lick his paws like a little nutbar. Ironically, he’s also the type of cat that likes to paw at your face when youre sleeping; yanno, stroke your face- not bat at it. He likes to pet me as much as I do him. Funny feeling is, since he does what he does to his pads, they arent always smooth but sometimes rough which makes for a rude awakening when he does it to my face at 4am!

Good luck with the kitty and keep up posted. Seems you have top rate advice here.

PS: Id say though, he’s well adjusted as you can see! And no, he isnt “mean”… so many say that when they see this pic. This is his “handsome” pose. He’s mostly a flower child peace loving pacifist.

She’s looking for the mother with the gold egg. Officially named Mother Coiled Dragon.

Ahh! Thank you for that big clarification. That is not what I had her down as. I had her down for a “White Curled Mother Dragon.” This makes a big difference! Thanks for the clue in Pegasi!

Thank you foxfeather, for your kind words. It’s nice to hear but of course, not why I do it. Ive always been uncomfortable with compliments so if anyone had been saying this stuff to my face, Id be more ruby than a Windstone!

in reply to: What would you be?? #599440

Well, Ive always wanted to fly… dream Im flying constantly. And, Im a Leo; a very true, blue Leo to the core. So naturally, Id probably be a Flion. I’ll back that up with a Griffin and then a Pegasus (though Ive dreamed of spending time with dragons but I was in human form).

My wishlist still stands: White Mama Coiled Dragon.

Your original post said CURLED… are you looking for a white curled or coiled? Gold egg or clear crystal in middle? I havwent looked back to see if anyone has edited their posts (lists) as I asked to put new requests, extended lists, etc., as new posts. Easier than weeding through pages for me.

But I have the print out of the first 5 pages (been writing down the rest and have it typed into hard copy with thumbnail pix of each piece next to title to help me out). It said Curled.

Hope youre enjoying your time, GB!

in reply to: "RED MARBLES"- great story I got as an email #599486

Ahhhh! I didnt want to make anyone cry! Sorry for that side effect (even though it did it to me too; I should have known there were like souls here). Was just meaning to share as there are so few FW kinds of emails that mean anything to me these days, that when a touching one comes along, I look for others to share it with. My email can only go so far and everyone has been so sweet to me here, I wanted to share because I thought youd appreciate the actual story. Sorry it came at the price of tears… but at least it shows you (and others) that you have a soft heart- which, like a retired or LE Windstone, is rare to find, especially online!

See, I was able to tie in a Windstone plug there! 8) )

in reply to: Can anyone link me to pix of these? #599532

THANKS GALS! All this has helped tremendously!
