Mom will be having surgery to put a plate and screws in her ankle Thursday.
Now the ex’s wife is being difficult and won’t even answer if he has left on his government contract deployment or not. Gavin’s visitation is with his father not the rest of the family. Once dad is gone visitation is over and if I find out on Friday he’s already gone and I wasn’t told I’m raising hell.
My mom fell and broke her right ankle last week while she was away from home at a conference. She had wonderful caregivers who looked after her until yesterday when they came home. I made sure to be at her house when they got there so I could help get her in the house. Thank goodness for my sister in law. She isn’t working so she and my nieces came over to stay with my mom while she recovers (at least until the school year starts).
My mom and Gavin were supposed to go on a week long trip to New York at the end of the month. It’s been canceled now. I haven’t had the heart to tell him yet.
I need to call my ex husband and tell him I want to get Gavin back Friday (I expect he wants to bring him back from visiting on Sunday) as I need time to get Gavin ready for camp that starts Monday. He was supposed to go to camp earlier this month and my ex refused to bring him back because “it takes away from my time”. We managed to change which week of camp Gavin was going to so we aren’t out the registration fees.
And now I have to tell Gavin one of the goldfish died. It had been doing poorly since Gavin left for his dad’s. I’m not sure which fish it was. One we got while Gavin was in first grade (he just finished fourth), the other we got this fall.
I’m sorry I haven’t posted pictures of the one I painted (as my swap eek requested). I couldn’t find the batteries to the camera, then I did, but I haven’t had a chance to get them off the camera. I don’t have any Internet at my house right now and my husband and I have less than a half gig of data left on our on our phones, which has to last us until midnight on the 15th.
I’m using WiFi just to post this. I haven’t forgotten, life is just conspiring against me.
I do have pictures of Baha but the batteries in my camera are dead right now once they’re charged I’ll see what I can do with posting them and more pictures of my swap from zloy720. I should have mentioned it sooner but I absolutely love him.
Mine from zloy720 came today as well. My pictures aren’t the best as I was rushing to get dinner made for a couple hungry boys. I’ll try to get better pictures soon when I have batteries in my camera.
I had a 30 minute lunch yesterday, so couldn’t make it to the post office. My husband mailed the package out today. Should be there in two days.
It was in a pocket of a backpack (which I swear I searched). It had been missing since I moved in with my husband. I didn’t get to pack a lot of my stuff at the time because I was six months pregnant and had to work full time.
I think I might have finally gotten some good pictures but I forgot how much of a battery hog my camera was while the camera was lost for 3 years.
Okay, so this isn’t exactly “thread appropriate” but I’m posting it anyway. 😉 We celebrated my bday tonight (had to wait a day due to family schedule craziness) and what does my oldest give me, but a drawing of my lovely little Autumn Leaf fan-rin. Love, love, love, love, love.
