I just checked mine, and it doesn’t have numbers, either… Plus he’s not as colorful as yours. Mine is the way I remember him. Very monochromatic… and handsome… lol… (Pardon me… I’m still rather awestruck!)
Oooo… I want the one on the right…. *drool*
Ooo… I’m jealous… I loved Morro Bay… It was beautiful there…
Edit… Congrats on the great find!
Green eyes are nice… *says she who has green eyes*
If they do that, you might consider trying to finance with someone like GMAC that is a mortgage broker. We used them with our last house, and they were very easy to deal with… I think you can do that over the web? (Don’t quote me on that!) Or open an account with a credit union, and get financing thru them, which is usually a little easier. Just a couple of suggestions.
edit: I forgot too… some companies will let you finance the 20%, just a little higher rate as a second mortgage…Maybe just a teeny-weeny bit… lol!
Easily, if it’s not your favorite to begin with… I like hubby’s pearl griffs, but I just cannot find it in me to like the dragons… I’ve tried, and I have seen them in person, but personally, I’d rather have color…
Bummer! Don’t worry… The right house will show up. And Silver is right… Better to find out now…
😀
Happy Birthday! *starts picking confetti off cake*
So? How’d it go? Inquiring minds, don’tcha know… lol!
Welcome!!
Plus, I don’t think it’s lame! I personally think it’s one of those crafts that it’s better to sit down with someone to see how it’s done… I’ve seen books, and they confused me… And I’m supposed to know what I’m doing! lol…
Chessapeaka wrote:That would be so awesome… Do you need special tools for it? The way I did it was by wrapping wire around a paintbrush handle, then linking bits together. It was lame.
I usually use a mandril, but as long as the paintbrush handle is a uniform thickness, it’d work, as long as your wire isn’t too heavy… The hardest part about that (I think) would be keeping an even tension while you were winding. And a mandril doesn’t have to be fancy… We used ones that were just a couple of pieces of wood with a metal rod to wrap the wire around, until one of the metalworkers got creative! If I can find some pics, I’ll send them to you…
And I forgot… You just need pliers and something to cut the wire. End nippers work wonderfully…I need to go drag out my stuff… I haven’t played around with it in a long time! If I’m ever out that way, I’ll bring the stuff, and I’d be glad to teach! I used to teach the basics…
