Mimi – I know about the eyes. I bought a yellow and a red eyed griff and debated the entire time as they made their journey across the lake to me which one should become Cerberus. I finally decided on red because I figured they would just look more fitting to match his name. SPark used yellow on her elemental, which really shine out, but I decided that yellow eyes are cattish – cool, withdrawn – rather than fiercely aflame. Can’t say whether I made the right choice. I’ll try to work the black so the red stands out more. But I did think about it first.

Hmm…I see what you mean. I think the red eyes do look more demonic and fits with the color scheme better. Improving the contrast as you mentioned should look good…

Maybe you could put them by a dragon so people know how big they are. I am waiting on 2 castles to arrive in the mail otherwise I would do it.

No problem…I’ll put a dragon next to the castle in one of the pics.

Some friends came over today so I didn’t get a chance to take pictures yet, but I will tomorrow…

    Good point!

In that case, here we are all together…Ski, you, me, and Frozen…oooh, we look nice…

Ha ha! I thought the black one would suit him too. 🙂

But he’d rather be the white one and he doesn’t like the red eyes he could use this persona instead:

😳 Shoot…I was hoping I could sneak them into the other thread before anyone noticed…

Poor Ski….the adventures of bunny sitting.

*note to self: keep bunnies away from Windstones*

better go get your squirrel visa right away…and we mustn’t forget Frozen…he wanted to come too…

But he stills to get a squirrel persona. Lucky for him we have some nice ones from the other discussion:

Which one of these do you think frozen would look best as?

Actually, I haven’t posted any pics of my Windstones yet except for my emerald scratcher — though I’ve been wanting to do that for awhile! The castles are a good place to start…I’ll post a pic of those later…I’ll see if I can get a picture of the rest of them too…

in reply to: Gary Kinsella- Melody or anyone? #518723

Yes, get them all! I have mine all in a row on top of the fireplace…

    😆

Don’t forget the visas, guys…we need them to beam us over…

But in the meantime, we can see who else has a squirrel persona. We can get a big group together and go at the same time! 😀

Personally I think the castles are worth every penny…but I think emerald’s right that they probably don’t appeal to as many people as dragons do. Darn…

Ah, that makes sense. I can see the feathers taking a lot of time…

And Nam, I’d forgotten that the wolves were smaller! I kept thinking that they were the same size as the griffin even though I’ve seen Melody’s comparison picture…

    Thanks Nam! 😀

He looks great! I love the fur on the lion part — it really makes him look like he’s on fire and contrasts nicely with the rest of him. The talons and the beak complement the color scheme beautifully too.

Though I wonder if he would look even better with yellow eyes, which would contrast better with the red on the head?
