The image is just on one side, away from the drinker if they are right handed. Should I put them on both sides? I can do that. I was going to do some wrap around designs too.
Having the image on both sides would be great — I think that would look a lot nicer. In addition, it would work for both left and right handed people, regardless of whether they preferred the image to be facing toward or away from the drinker (since the image would be on both sides).
I totally agree. If I’m drinking tea in my mug (right handed) I want to see the picture too (as well as let others admire it). My boyfriend is left handed so it would even work for him!
Yep. You are right. Now the images are on both sides. They still have the “square block image on cup” look though, but I don’t mind it too much.I found more images, so maybe I can get some more interesting things put together today!

Golf tee??? Now THOSE I haven’t seen! wouldn’t the image be awfully small?
They look like a polo shirt. The image would be small on the chest, like a pocket.OH, golf TEE shirt! I thought you meant a golf tee, like the little thing you hit a ball from!

(our cat is huge)
but still, she’s way bigger than I thought….
I TOLD you!

As a matter of fact, that thought did cross my mind…for about 2 seconds…but I was def not going to bring it up. 😆
This is fun though!
Im glad!! You know, I was wondering, because of previous conversations, if the calendar you put out was gonna be a year behind….
I’ve wasted a month, but it will still be for this year, I would think!
make it a 16 month one…that way the wasted month(s)…won’t matter much OY, sixteen images?? I’ll see what I can come up with. I know we got millions of images, but getting to them is a job.

I made the designs on photoshop, printed them out on paper and then wrapped the actual size print around a real mug to see how well it fits. The designs for the Secret Keeper and the Sushi Cat should now be well positioned. The brown scratching dragon design is still questionable though. I need to work on it.Wow, that’s great! One thing though — I think the mugs are actually 11 oz. or 15 oz.. Its really nice that you’re offering both sizes.
By the way, is the image for the large mug going to be correspondingly larger than the one for the small mug?I measured a Cafe press mug myself (because the capacitiy isn’t in the Cafe’ Press info. about it).The small mug holds one cup.. that is 8oz. right?
I don’t know exactly what the large one holds, I assumed it held 11oz. since that is a standard size. I should take that off of the words ’till I know for sure, I guess.
The image for the large mug is the same size as for the small. There does not seem to be a way to put larger images on them.skigod377 wrote:Melody wrote:skigod377 wrote:Well done! That sure was quick!!

I am rounding up some large images we have of various Windstones. These are high resolution enough to make posters and calendars and stuff like that. I’ll be getting these items up this week, as time permits. Ha ha.
(I started with the mugs just to get the store open.)dragonmedley wrote:Have you made any progress in deciding what the new color was going to be? Will you know before the tan and black mother and chicks are up for sale? Can you show us?
Planning for my wallet here 😀 I am getting close to a color, I’ll photo it today and post it. It is a wolf looking one. I can’t decide if the tan color should be soft, or bright chestnut like the “nyalah” one.. I kinda prefer it soft myself, but many people liked the brighter “nyalah” one. (If you don’t know what I am refering to, the pics of these old test colors are in my gallery, on here, under “staff gallery”) I am having trouble with the female, because I didn’t plan her feather pattern to match the male’s very well. She will look different, even with the same coloring, because her chest area is so broad.
I had some pearl griffin chicks test-painted last week. The sitting griffin chicks are cast and ready to paint. We’ll do a batch in Pearl next.
We are still having casting issues with the crouching one, though.frozendragon wrote:drag0nfeathers wrote:OH YEA! Poad skibbies, bloomers, knickers, undies, or as my mother called them… fudgies =D

I’ve got three coffee mugs in it.Wow, that was quick! I wanted to check with you on a few things:
Quote:1) The image on the mug looks like its all squished to the left. Is it actually centered on the side which faces you (if the handle is to the left)?
The pictures of the mugs don’t look very good. I ordered one of those mugs, so I’ll see for myself how it looks when I get it. I think that it is just how the image looks in the store.. but why don’t you wait till I get one to check, to be sure the image isn’t squished.

Quote:3) If its only on one side, it looks like the image would be on the side which is not facing you if you’re right handed. Is that the way it supposed to be?
Yes.
I am open to any suggestions you have! I don’t know what I am doing. I’m proud of myself for even getting those things up!Greater Basilisk wrote:A Windstone store! Awesome! Will these pieces be Direct Sales or will your retailers be able to sell them too?
You purchase these things directly from the “Windstone Stuff” store on the Cafe’ Press website.

I’ve got three coffee mugs in it. Hey, that took me all day! ( Notice the very cool drop shadow on the sushi-cat mug! That took three people about an hour to do by itself.)Also notice the impressive typo in the store description. You should always spell your company’s name wrong. -
