I see BURD! And your rooster. How cool.That was Rufus, my pet rooster. I had him for years. He was the nicest rooster! He just sat and posed perfectly, while all the other animals were squirming around and not smiling at the camera.
The dodo is a casting of a ceramic dodo I sculpted in 1982. It cracked in the kiln, so I glued it back together and had a mold made of it. I doesn’t have the detail that the Windstone things have, but I have always planned to detail it and sell it as a yard dodo. Like I have time to do that. It is supposed to be a slide show. Hmm.. I’ll see if I can get it work. The rest of it is just the article itself , which is actually kinda stoopid..I will have to fix this from my home computer tonight, that’s where the images are filed. I can post links to the article as seperate images.

It is supposed to be a slide show. The other pages are just the article itself. Do you see a “next” button on the top right of the screen when you clickon the link? that should advance the slides.

I’ve managed to waddle over to the computer after eating a sice of THE MOST WONDERFUL DELICIUOS CAKE I’ve ever tasted!That thing weighed like ten pounds,and was made of the best quality chocolate you can imagine! … (must of cost the equivilent of two fleglings!)

That is a great picture. I wish I were there to see it all. I see that the Windstones enjoyed it as well. What is that pig looking thing in the picture (next to the gothic unicorn)? Not the guinea pig.That is an old “razerback” from the original Windstone line of animals we did. The cake was about eight layers of yellow cake with very rich chocolate cream layers in between. (Notice the Maya hill figurine passed out in the background)
That unicorn was one of two old, cream colored prototype paint samples I found. I was going to sell them on Ebay, but maybe I will make a batch of them like this..or maybe not… I am dithering again..had.. too.. much.. cake.dragonessjade wrote:Yes, we want pics…of course after you are done eating.. Ok, this is a kinda dumb question, because these are already painted, but do you think the eyes look better against white eye rings, or dark? I painted this batch taking great care to keep the faces light around the eyes, but the darker eye areas actually look okay too,(there is a dark-eyed one in my siggy) and may enhance the green and lavendar eyes.Real poads™ have light eyerings.
