Thanks for the pictures, 96037! First night it was too cloudy here to view (we had snow), last night it was clear enough but I’d forgotten all about it.
Here’s Kelligary’s photos of March raffle prize “Flourish”;
Very pretty! Congratulations, Kelligary
Kelligary, Thanks to Hannah’s HTML tips, I just recently learned how to post photos on the forum threads. If you’ll send me the photos via email, I’d be happy to post them for you. I’ll PM you with my contact info.
Here’s a new arrival that I was fortunate enough to purchase from another member whom I can’t thank enough. I don’t think it’s been shown yet. Colors are a beautiful copper, golds, shades of purple.
And, here she is with another beautiful MK that I was fortunate to obtain from another forum member in a trade;
I just love this color scheme! :love: Broke down & bought a male griffin even though I was trying to avoid big pieces, but I just couldn’t resist when I saw those colors that look like a butterfly.
My MK’s from last batch showed up today and instantly fell in love with the first one. Missed her on the class photo but the colors are stunning & love the eyespots & lilac detailing. They almost look like they belong together as a “pair”. I hate to split them up, but I’ll probably put the copper faced MK up for trade. If she’s anyone’s favorite, PM me.
Haven’t named them yet.
Thanks to Melody & Brandi for such lovely sculpts!
And, here’s her copper/green faced relative;
The fat thick body, narrowing tail, & box-like head around tiny neck appear to match a Water Mocassin, which are dangerous.
Do you have “critter removal” services in your area that you could call for removal? Many of them simply remove the animal & place it in another locale instead of harming them.
I had raccoons nest in my soffit last year & had to use “critter removal” services extensively because as they trapped one mother raccoon and removed her, another moved into the nest. Finally, last one had babies & they had to tear up my walls to try to extricate them after catching the mother.
It looks like a water mocassin but there’s also harmless water snakes that look very similar.
Here’s a link to a website that tells how to identify the difference by looking at certain features, however I wouldn’t get too close to it to check it out.

Same here. This one reminds me of “Starry Starry Night” pattern that I saw on a PYO on ebay once. It’s very nice.
Store’s showing the MK’s down to the last 1!
Gorgeous MK’s, Rock-Reader. Love the colors on both.
