      In hand pics please? 😊

Sure thing! I’ll take a group shot when my newbies get here on Tuesday (if USPS cooperates).

I’m so glad that I saw Susie’s post. I ordered the male in ancient steel & when it was delivered, it actually looks even more beautiful in person than in those gorgeous photos on the site. Picked up a fledge & young. This has become my new favorite color for Windstones.

I got the email, but too late as the waitlist had already filled up, so will have to take a chance on the “after market”.

They’re all so beautiful, it’s hard to pick a favorite.

StormDancer – yours reminds me of the gorgeous details on the old merry-go-round horses.

          The rainbows are WOW!

They’re cute to watch. I now know where that old saying “shake a tail feather” originated. Think it was a song too. Whenever they move around or get ready to take flight, they shake their heinies! So cute.

My springtime visitors return. If anyone wonders whether ducks have memories, this is the third year that I’ve had the same mallard ducks raiding my bird feeders. My two somali’s really enjoy their visits. Last year I had 3 mating pairs taking turns & occasionally getting into spats with other males. I guess a sign Spring is here, but we’re due for another snow/ice storm later this week.

We got about 4 inches of now & -30 temps. Shoveled half my driveway yesterday until I got too cold, then this morning see that the 50 mph wind gusts blew drifts covering up what I shoveled yesterday. Think at this point I’ll wait for the snow to melt in our mid-week warmup where we are supposed to get near 50.

Stay safe everyone & have a great holiday!

On the good news front, IRS has delayed the requirement to report income from $600 sales on payment websites.

Huge thanks to a kind forum member who did a trade with me for a pumpkin spice wolf. Here’s the gorgeous wolf I traded for; has nearly every critter scattered throughout the scene – cats, owl, bats, ghosts, pumpkins. Just lovely!

Lovely! Always enjoy seeing all the critters Melody paints in the landscapes.

Thanks, Susie! I’ll have to start watching the website daily. With the new system, I just wait for the emails. Don’t think it should crash the website if people get the email & just click on the link for waitlist as it doesn’t involve lots of time on the website as the order process takes.

Seems that many people bought one to “flip”, so I’ll see if I have any luck trading for one.

We have emailed everyone on the waitlist for the Pumpkin Spice Pebble Wolves now. If you think you should be on the list and didn’t get an email, please contact me! susie@windstoneeditions.com

We are very sorry we messed up and didn’t get an announcement out in time for people to see that this was on our site Home Page. Then the wait list filled very quickly. This is a small batch due to the limit of how much of that red/blue color shift paint that is the background on all of them (someone asked about that – yes, they all have the same “sky” color). We had plans for an announcement! But they went awry.

I’d like to add here that there will be times that we do not announce something before putting it into our store in an effort to reduce the possibility of our store crashing. Keep an eye on our Home Page and our Forum for announcements!

I guess that I’m confused. I thought that with the new procedure for sales, that the email mailing list would announce to everyone that a piece would go on sale and if one was interested they could sign up on the wait list for the item on a first come basis. Then, as in past GB, a link to purchase would be emailed to those on the wait list.

This new process seems to avoid the website crashing from too much traffic, which was great for Windstone & purchasors who don’t need to spend hours trying to grab one & checkout because Windstone is gauging interest in the item instead of posting a time for the sale.

So, if something’s changed, I’ll have to adjust & start looking at the website forum everyday to avoid missing out on pieces, instead of relying on the mailing list?

Totally missed out on the wolves. Bummer. Did Windstone stop sending out emails that notify of sales announcements? I didn’t receive anything just happened to see this thread long after they were gone.

Any chance of Autumnal or Halloween themed grabs in the near future. (I don’t really expect it as it looks like you’ve been very busy with other projects, but figured it didn’t hurt to ask. 😉 )

I am having the casters make a batch of pebble wolves to do as pumpkin spice wolves! I hope I’ll have time to do them.
The African Wild dog hippogriffs I am working on now will probably take me a few more weeks, that leaves only a short time to get pebble wolves painted before Halloween!

I’m all in on the pebble wolves! Either pumpkin spice or winter would be great!
