Welcome hardwired!
Hey, somebody only a few hours away!
Welcome to the circus! Hope you’re not afraid of clowns, cuz there’s plenty here! (no offense meant to anybody π ; I love ppl here!)skigod377 wrote:littleironhorse wrote:Ski: I would really prefer to let the buyer answer that one… If they choose to do so π On my part, let’s just say I got an offer I couldn’t refuse π
I understand perfectly. There are only a few out there, so they are pretty valuable. At least to me. I was just curious… but buyer, if you want to tell, I would love to know.
LOL I’ll PM you, Ski. I’m getting the old greenie. Thanks LIH!

β I didn’t get your PM Maebnus. I’ll try to PM you to see if it works.
That’s just weird. But I got your PM, and replied. It shows in my outbox now, so it should be good. ThanksPMed you, LIH. I hope. I know I pressed Submit, but shouldn’t it be in my sent box or outbox or something?
Today’s a good day. I won the old green Emperor off eBay. Then not 20 minutes later, the mailman came with not only enough manga to keep me busy all weekend, but a new addition to my collection:
(Thanks Emerald!)I’m leaving in just a few to go see my grandma in Lake Park, MN for the weekend, so have a good Memorial Day weekend everybody!
Greater Basilisk wrote:What do you know – it’s a prototype! I didn’t even notice that.
If that’s true, I’m surprised they didn’t put a little more thought into the listing. Well, maybe not after the 10pc family grouping.
But if you say you have a letter of authenticity, wouldn’t you read it?? If nothing else, letters usu. tell you neat tidbits that make the piece sound good. I figure if you went to the trouble of buying a prototype, and then had to sell it, you’d advertise why it’s worth more.AdaraSky wrote:I agree they don’t get enough screen time. I don’t even remember seeing the pink/red one only the grey ones. He is soooo cute. I’m gonna get one or two. π
Yeah, the pink one seemed to disappear. I can only imagine that the filmmakers forgot there were SIX babies at the end of Shrek 2, and they only have 5 in S3. Yet they still make the toys π (tho I think that’s just to appeal to more little girls). If they decide to make a 4th movie, they’d better have a pink dronkey! They could make it the only one that talks, or something…
Way cute! I’m going out tomorrow to see if I can find ’em around here, before resorting to eBay.
I love the dronkeys, but they don’t get enough screen time in the movie. ππ― I KNOW not to put them in water! Wow would that ever suck. I’d cry π₯
Hm… watermelon. Very interesting. You could do a fruit basket theme πI had that thought too about the fish tank, but, alas, I have no fish. And being almost summer, I’m sure my snake’s eating again so my parents’ spare tank has gerbils in it. Blah.
And purplecat, I’d love to take you up on that some time, but I’ll need a bit to pay off some things first. With all these dragons & griffs calling to me, I don’t think I’ll be able to wait ’til graduation in August to get a job π
2-medusas wrote:ps–I think I have seen the word Brindle applied to animals other than dogs as it refers to the color pattern not the breed. Anyone know if that is true?
Yep. Brindle refers to the neat stripey coloring. You can see it in dogs a lot; half the Boxers I ever see are brindle, including the new puppy down the street. π
