My mom was so nice to remind me that it is actually 3 for 3 with eBay purchases. The one that made it was bought from me but purchased through another accout sent to another house so that dont count. I guess I a have just real bad luck with eBay. The nerve wrecking thing is, I have an old green young still floating out there and she was bought on eBay…. :O
I got a hold of the seller briefly and they asked me to send pictures to them. They seem to be worried about it.. So that is better than the scenerio with the white wizard.
Thanks for the info on the WS angels.. Unfortunately, this was suppose to be a Christmas present for someone and I know I cant get it fixed by then. The fortunate thing is, when I finally calmed down and reopened it, it is only the egg shell and it is just a bunch of large chuncks around the base.
First time in 4 years I have been able to afford me some Windstones and already breaking my heart. The good side is Melody Pena knows how to pack her WS so my PYOs made it and I can take some frustration out on them (paint them that is) lol… 😉
Y’all keep your fingers crossed for me please that my young green makes it safe….
Need to come up with a list of people not to buy Windstones from on eBay. It doesnt cost that much for the packing material and it doesnt take anymore time to pack it right. I dont see why people chose to be like that… My very first Windstone ever to my collection came in broke. Broke my heart almost to the point to where I didnt want to collect them (glad that didnt last long) and he conviently forgot to put insurance on it even though I paid for it. He was fixed and was given a new home, but still that is a lot of hard work and heartache to the buyer if the seller doesnt do it right….
Make a complaint with eBay. You will most likely get your money back even though he wasnt insured. Sucks to see another Windstone fall due to eBay sellers stupidity and/or mail carriers. At least this way you might be able to get your money back and you can keep him to try and fix him… Sorry for your loss…
THEY ARE SO TINY!!!!!!!!!!!! I got mine in today along with everything else that was floating out there (felt like Christmas) and I couldnt wait to open it. The mail lady laughed at me as I tore into the box on the walkway. They are just so darn cute! I cant wait until I can get started on them. A challenge for the not-so-steady handed. lol…
The swap thing sound very interesting. With them being so small they wont be hard to paint or take long to paint them and with all the detail you can do lots of things with them, as well.
I am waiting for my first two to arrive. I was thinking about sticking to the original colors for foo dogs. One will be of green colors and the other of red colors. Will post pics when I get them finished. Now that I have seen the size reference with the hatching dragon, I wish I would have gotten more… LOL. 😉
I have another question for MELODY. I noticed in your blog that there was an issue with the emails sent to the store email. What email would be best to enter for the raffle? I dont want to be spammed 🙁
