Adding my voice to dragonmedley’s: I’m in Canada and I absolutely always request USPS for shipping because of the 40% brokerage fee I’d have to pay with private courrier companies (UPS, Fed Ex and so on). I do always request insurance for the full value and yes, I get to pay 14% taxes when I get the item, but I’d have to pay taxes if I bought it in a store here anyways, so I don’t mind so much. But 40% brokerage fee is definitely too high, for example, on my flame POW if I had used UPS, I would have had to pay a $138 brokerage fee to UPS + the 14% taxes!

So yes, in my opinion, USPS is better for shipping over the border (I don’t know about overseas though) and I’ve never had a problem with them.

One other thing… You should always ship with a service that provides tracking numbers, that way, the buyer can’t say he never got the item. I learned this one the hard way!

OH! I like my second death much better!

Sylvie: At age 86 you will participate in the newest reality game show. Contestants battle each other in an arena with swords and spears. You will have a good run (12+ victories) but eventually be killed, much to the audience’s dismay.

I agree with drag0nfeathers, lovely paint job, although not ma favorite color scheme, still just as skillful as all your other work. But, I just don’t like the rhinestones.

Actually I was thinking of the very original, Of Mice and Men by Steinbeck. Lenny is the big, slow guy and George is the little, smart guy. And Lenny gets a puppy and he’s going to “hug him and kiss him and call him George” after his friend/brother George.

Oh Yeah! Forgot about that one! Now that I think about it the Bugs sketch is probably based on that one… Although when I watched Bugs Bunny as a kid, it would no doubt have gone right over my head.

It’s a Bugs Bunny sketch where Bugs convinces the Yeti to keep Daffy Duck as a pet 😆

At least two? That’s good, it’s always nice when one can beat up on the other. Um, I meant play with one another? Sorry I don’t know where that came from. Just think if you have more than the older ones can play Momma while you’re out working. 😆

Ah! The memories… Comment most often heard from my older brother when he was playing with us (younger brother and me) : “Come on! Stop crying! It doesn’t even hurt!” 😆

I normally wouldn’t be too worried about it, it’s just that this person is a very new seller (Sept. 2006) and only 2 sales so far.

I’m sure it will be fine, but I’m a worrier at heart 😕 I like the protection of paying with a credit card…

Sorry to highjack your thread ladybrooklyn, but it’s my turn to worry!

I won this guy yesterday and only realised today, when I received the invoice, that the seller only accepts checks or money orders! Well, I went ahead and sent him the money, but let me tell you, I can’t wait to see how it will turn out!

Oh and before anyone asks, yes I already have a white fledgling, but he has a 0.5″ scratch on the belly and it’s been bothering me 😳

If everything turns out okay and my new fledgling is really in mint condition as advertised, I will be offering the other one here for sale or trade.
