Congrats!! 🙂
In Chicago we have been getting abnormally cold weather with strong icy winds. We have gotten plenty of snow on top of that. Currently I’m in southern CA where it is like the exact opposite. It is warm and sunny, which is wonderful when coming from Chicago. But just like most of the west coast they are dealing with a horrible drought. I have seen dried up rivers, baren lakes, brown grass and I have only been here a few days. So much contrast in the weather. Hoping things balance out for everyone soon.
Thank you! I’m just about to go dig my car out of the snow and get to work, just love having a mid-winter birthday haha 🙂
Thanks for the tips! I really do like Steampunk, so I need to check that store out. And all those places you mentioned, Maplecarver, sound fascinating too. I never heard of that furniture museum. I’m not a woodworker, but it sounds like a really cool place.
Thanks Melody. It sounds like North Hollywood is not the most exciting town to visit. I may go to Universal, and for sure I’ll be checking out some spots around LA. Just wanted to hear from you what the area was like. And I’d love to see some of the architecture in Pasadena… Mainly I can’t wait to get away from cold Chicago for a few days 🙂
I am very sorry to hear this 🙁 Rest in peace to Dale and his family.
January 11, 2014 at 1:19 am in reply to: Snow Dragons do exist!! I made the front page of the paper!! (Added Snow Tiger 1/3/15) #907643That is amazing!! Cold and beautiful. Maybe he can spit some fire to melt some of that stuff. But then he might melt himself, and I’d be sad…
I might be wrong about this, but I don’t think the old pyo’s came with felt pads. I have a pyo griffin I purchased in 2007 that did not come with a pad. Either that or I also lost it… Anyways, Susie is awesome and I hope she can get you a pad, I kinda wish my griffin had one 😛
Hmm, if I had to pick a favorite I’d say I like the purple swirly one, I’ll be happy with any one though. My first flapcat 🙂
We got buried in almost 18 inches of snow in the northern suburbs of Chicago. Snow has finally stopped but we will be getting days early next week with HIGH temperatures around -10 degrees F! I really just want to burrow in some blankets and not go outside again till spring.
They are all really neat! I can’t wait to see which flapcat I get. Eeee 🙂
I’m so excited to see all the prizes 🙂
Congrats zloy720!!
