It is hard to tell from the photos, but it looks he is partially faded, as the display side definitely looks more orange compared to the non display side. He doesn’t look badly faded like some red fires I’ve seen, but it appears he is beginning to fade. Again, it may just be the pictures, but that is what it looks like to me.
I didn’t even order one (yet anyways) and I’m excited to see what unicorns people are going to get and what their names will be 😀

I’ve never heard of this fish… I’m sorry you got sick from it. It’s so unfair when food that tastes so good can do such nasty things to your insides, blech.
Sadly my phone does not play Flash video so I didn’t see the webcam, but it sounded like fun:-) Can’t wait to see these new unicorns.
I am using my smartphone and this webcam may not work for me but I’m hoping it does. It is about 1pm in Oregon now.
I’m in the States and I have looked up common law marriage laws. It seems to differ state to state, but here in Illinois it doesn’t seem it is easy to declare yourself common-law and even if you are I don’t think you have all the rights of a married couple… I guess they really want you ‘married’ to get the legal rights.
Thanks for all the replies. I like the idea of subtly asking him. I wouldn’t say he is really traditionally minded, but asking him all of a sudden in public I think would embarrass him. I have been playing out in my mind what his reaction might be, and it is kind of fun to think about. I will continue to think this through and let you know if I am brave enough to do something 🙂 Maybe I need to put a slice of wedding cake in his briefcase, but that might be too messy…
Yes, I figure you are correct that the best method is to talk to him first. I guess I kind of liked the idea of something sudden and out in the open, but this certainly seems like a logical approach.
I was just thinking how awful it is for the east coast having a bizarre earthquake and now a hurricane barreling down on the coast. I have never experienced an earthquake or a hurricane but they must be awfully scary. Please be safe all you east coast people with Hurricane Irene approaching…
I’m happy you guys are okay. I’m working in Chicago and of course am far away, but it does make me wonder when the midwest might get a big earthquake. Take care everyone!
