DDVM The book you want is “Hot Target”. Her latest book, which comes out later this year, features Jules Cassidy, the gay character you mentioned, in another sub-plot. I have to admit I’m rooting for him to get his own book, too!

I read the whole story so I could compare your Cliff’s notes version. Good job.
I asked if he would wrap each item in bubble wrap, pack each in a separate box, and put that box in a 2nd box packed with peanuts.
His answer was “Yes, the buyer always gets what they want.”
So maybe all that is needed is to be extremely detailed as to how they are to be packed.

I met Suzanne Brockmann two weeks ago. She stopped over in Seattle on her way to Alaska to see her son in a play. Her husband Ed Gaffney was with her. He writes mysteries. They both seemed very down to earth.
