Oh, I agree. Too many of the teachers want to be the kids’ “buddies”. The ones that try to discipline the kids get too much resistance from the parents. Teachers have no real authority.
On the other hand, I have kids your age in my family and I would not want to be their teacher. Seems they already know everything, anyway….:p

Um… I like getting zapped. I got tasered once. It’s kind of a funny story. Not a police taser though, I hear those are a lot stronger than the kind that civilian types can buy.

Yup, I suppose it’s not too common. lol I grew up in Paterson, NJ, about 2 blocks from the Passaic River. I don’t remember a time when I wasn’t aware that if I fell into the river and couldn’t get to shore, or grab onto a bridge support, I would eventually go over the Great Falls. It was only a few miles from my street to the Falls and it was a fairly fast moving river, esp. after heavy rains. You will never catch me visiting Niagra Falls, that’s for sure. lol
