Well WolfenMachine, you’re getting all sorts of ideas and stories of what love is and what it isn’t. I’ve enjoyed reading these stories and have even shared mine for all to ponder. I guess with all this technology we now have at our finger tips, we can expose ourselves to many things and some of it not so good.
I’m going to keep it simple: throw away all the notions you see in TV, the media, the internet or what some know it all magazines has to say about love, sex, relationships. Personally I feel that as humans beings we have been degraded by all these mediums. That’s why we have high divorce rates, eating disorders, sex disorders, relationship flops and the like. They make us not happy with ourselves and if we aren’t happy with ourselves how are we going to be happy in any relationship? All that stuff you read and hear about normal weight, normal sex, normal relationships etc, etc, etc is a bunch of COPIOUS AMOUNTS OF POOOOO! 😡 👿
Relationships are about respect for each other–far cry from what you get off the internet and certain TV shows. It’s about giving of yourself–if you don’t want to do something nice for anyone then don’t get into a relationship! You have to form a bond that will carry you through both good, bad and downright ugly times! It’s sad how high the divorce rate is–that is so emotionally damaging. Personally, I think people go into these relationships with high expectations of what it should be. Of course, we’re just human and will always falls short of any expectations. Like I said in my own story–ACCEPT EACH OTHER FOR WHO YOU ARE! That is the best gift to can give to anyone! Think of marriage as a life long bond–to do otherwise has already undermined the marriage. And ACCEPT YOURSELVES FOR WHO YOU ARE–that way you can move forward and not be dragged down worrying about your appearance, weight, financial status and the such.
No one can make you happy–only you can make yourself happy. I think then, you’ll attract the right people in your life and hopefully, someone to join you in your jouney through life. :yes:
Well just got my Salmon Pearl lap today! I don’t usually name my pieces except for pyos but I’m calling her Tangerine. The name just came to me as I was looking at her and it fits! I should be getting my bengal kitties tomorrow along with the moonlight mermaid. Am anxious to see this mermaid and see how I like her. So you’ll see me on here again tomorrow night! 😀 I love that Poad on ebay right now but will definitely have to pass!
What I loved about this swap is that everyone is so encouraging! I’m new and they just welcome us newbies with open arms! Really put me at ease! There are some forums that are pretty tight knit and it’s hard to break into a group. Not here and that’s what makes the pyo swap so enjoyable! 😀

I’d bid a lot more on these Poads but my credit card has a limit! 😆 Now I like the Poads painted like real birds–I own real birds–kinda of wished I went after that Bourke Poad now–oh well. Whoever won that, hmmmm maybe we could work out a deal? 😳

I just joined earlier this year and I feel at home here. I know it’s strange, but it’s a feeling that comes from the people that are on this forum. There is a caring of a lot of things and the way people goes out of their way to help someone or even help them get their favorite sculpt. Where else are you going to find this? Nope, the forum members are definitely one of a kind! 😀
My credit cards hurt but I’m smiling. Just love these pretties–never knew the joy sculpted gypsum would give! 😀 Yes, this is a great place with wonderful people! I love the craziness even when it gets frustrating–like how the store was when the bengals first came out! But we rant and rave and in the end we end up with our beloved pieces! 😀

😆 I love the booger one! 😆 Unfortunately, there are a lot of crazy people out there and no telling what’s on their mind. If that ambulance driver had caused you to crash just think–they would be the ones taking you to the hospital! Now that’s a real scary thought! 😮
